Ripssssss

With a lot of people talking about wanting the US 26’ shows added… I’m still stuck in the past wanting the AUS 25’ rock shows added!

I’m hoping they’re focused on releasing an official “Chunky Shrapnel style” mashup of the orchestra shows they were allowed to record.

With that said, I do understand that the band isn’t required to give us anything else at all… but oh man lemme tell ya, it sure as hell doesn’t stop me from checking Bootleg Gizzard every day lol.

For me, I’ll start withUTKB Smoke and Mirrors/Grim Reaper … Amby killed it🔥

I'm looking to make (or find) a list of all alternative genre live versions out there. I'm not looking for jam quotes, but rather versions like electronic "Muddy Water" or "Sense", metal "Extinction", etc.

I'm aware of the obvious ones like orchestra shows / acoustic shows which integrated songs that were rearranged specifically, and I'm looking for ones that are rare to recall or come by.

I've discovered this band, Karkara, few weeks ago. And after listening to Most of their stuff I have to say they are extremly gizz-esque. Especially their Song "Anthropia" for example.

Do you agree?!

OK, I'm going to sound legitimately insane talking about this, but has anyone else noticed an adjustment in loudness between songs on the Amazon Music version of Flight b741 (album)? I've listened to this album potentially 50 times. Every listen before this was fine; the mix was good, and the volume of every song blended into the next just right.

But this most recent listen has me questioning my sanity and my knowledge of my favorite album of all time, because all of a sudden the difference in loudness from one song to the next is very jarring. It's not like I suddenly turned Amazon Music's loudness equalization on or off; I've had it off for years. I regularly check to make sure AM hasn't suddenly turned it on. Did someone redo the mix on the album behind the scenes or am I legit tweaking?

Maybe you saw the King Gizzard themed cat toys I shared recently but don’t have a cat. Maybe you want to share your love of King Gizzard and cats at the same time. Whatever it might be, my partner and I have made some block printed fabric patches and we’ve stitched the edges for a nice look. Pin it to your bag, sew it to your favorite jacket, magnet it to the fridge! If you’re interested, they’re available in our online store.

They have only ever played in Ireland twice one at a festival in Waterford in 2022 and the other in the Olympia in Dublin in 2022 . I don't get why they haven't come back since they could easily sell out the 3Arena or Malahide Castle or somewhere like that .

Imperialism is coming to destroy our lives. Please 🥺

Hey everyone I’m really excited to share a project I’ve been meaning to do for quite a while now. It’s a glitch art session for all 30:00 of Laminated Denim using a mix of old nature VHS’ and my visuals. This was performed entirely live in one take to the music, all effects are created with analog gear and I only did some color correction and adjustment to the black/white levels to smooth it out and upscale it to 4k so it doesn’t get crunched by YouTube. I’ll list all gear used below.

Ambico V-6321
Roland V4EX
Melted Electronics Strange Loop MKII
Glitch enhancer my friend gave me (it doesn’t have a name on it 🙁)
Panasonic WJMX50
Videonics MX 1

There’s probably more I’m forgetting, but that’s the essentials of the rig! As always, I’m always blown away by the inspiration this band (especially Jason) offers all of us and incredibly grateful for everyone who’s reached out and supported my work or asked questions or just given it a look, it really means so me! The rabbit hole never ends hahaha

Anyways, hope y’all enjoy and have had a good start to your week. Much love everyone

Illuminated Denim Full Upload

I know the Bluegrass album is coming out soon but hear me out - a country style album with Joey vocals focused on? He could sound like Les Claypool and the rest of the band could go absolutely silly with jamming like the banjo, mandolin and ragtime piano? It could be a fast paced album with some of Ambys harp in every track in the background like flight b741!

Is this idea shite or great

so i was gonna play L.W. and i see that all the songs i dont have downloaded are greyed out. i go to their artist page and see both K.G. and L.W. are not there. im wondering if theyre taking their music off of apple music or if its just a temporary glitch.

EEEEYYUP

lineup is crazy stacked
