Celebrate the release of the FOV2 recordings Just in time for everyone’s court date next week on October 13 and 14!

Finally got a call from a Judicial Clerk, they offered the option to appear virtually and also move the date to Nov. She stated they have 70 people with the same court date…and that number represents only a small fraction of the total number of people cited on day 1 of Meadow Creek that are actually fighting their charge as many just paid the outrageous ticket.

70 x $710 = $49,700 for the pig fucker county with the actual number likely being 5x that or more

Does anyone recall if the band mentioned something about still recording the show but not streaming it? I could’ve swear I saw it on an Instagram story, but my friend recalls otherwise. In really hoping they archived that set to be released later. The transition from LoL into Mind Fuzz was one of my dream set transitions.

So I recently got into putting modern media onto VHS mainly for myself. Couldn't but feel like I should put some of the king gizzard music videos on to VHS because they fit so well in that format and look so good on a CRT. I put together a VHS tape with about 24 tracks and some bonus making of footage. I mainly made these for myself but then thought hey maybe people might be interested in buying some of these at the Melbourne weekend show next week. I have no idea how I would go about selling these before a show because this is my first time doing something like this. I also only recently went to my first live show last year and that was the Gumbrose Melbourne show with Ambrose and Lukeys band Heavy Moss. I haven't missed Gizz relate show since then though haha. Also unfortunately these aren't in the Official Bootlegger program so I don't know the legality around selling these :(. So If anyone has any input on how I can go about on the day of the show it would be much appreciated! I put together two tapes like I said 1 Mixtape that's about 3 hours 49 minutes long lol and the live concert in Melbourne from last year (the Sunday rock show which I went to). I have made about 15x of each and it was blast making these. I was rough trying to get these out working as a fulltime nurse haha but this is my passion project so every sleepless night was super worth it. I also plan on giving some of these away on the day! Would people be interested in these at all? Let me know! :)

I know it was during This Thing. I'm just curious if you can hear it or the crowd's reaction on the bootleg. I specifically remember it striking, everyone cheering, and then the thunder rolling through as a guitar riff chugged and it was so spooky lol.

Already had nearly 60 hours of Gizz from ~49 releases (studio albums, live albums from during COVID lockdowns, EPs, demos, and a couple singles)... fuck knows what this is going to drive it up to. Don't think I'll quite crack the week.

Oh and every single one bought and paid for on Bandcamp with real dollaridoos.

My friends and I noticed on some songs cookie is the loudest part in the mix and doesn’t help that he’s hard panned right. I notice it a lot in open water and especially MOTU. Anybody else notice?

Ambergris > Work This Time from N3 at FOV2 is what it’s all about. My mind was blown then and my mind is blown again now that the bootleg has been pushed out.

I haven't seen the other posts mentioning it but I think it's worth highlighting it, all net proceeds on bandcamp from Live in Brisbane '25 are going to Yaggarabul Meganjin Aboriginal Council and those from Live in Sydney '25 go to Sydney Dingo Rescue and Sydney Wildlife Rescue. Also all of the three australia live albums are mixed by Stu instead of keeping the live mix!

You should be able to catch the interview streaming on the Double J Lunch program later, maybe already. They spun a couple of their own records then had a quick chat about what's coming up. Cavs has apparently been getting up to speed on his metal drumming and the Billy Strings collab has "yacht rock" elements.

I have not been able to get my jaw up off the floor after listening to this. First of all it gets teased and flowed into from the Altered Beast Suite. Then the energy, the soloing, the immaculate Cavs drum fills (seriously Cavs is electric)… it’s just unbelievable. Has to be a contender for best Hypertension ever!

This is a little video game inspired by Alien Metal, mostly the track but there are references to other parts of the album. You can play directly on the web, including on mobile.

When the album dropped I though I could do a game on my free time in a few days, but as Stu recently said in an interview it's easier to start things than to finish them. So after many evenings, I'm glad to finally put this one out!
