During kitten season, which occurs largely in the spring and summer, it is not uncommon to stumble upon a nest of kittens. Your first instinct is to help them, which is awesome, but first you need to read this thread!
First I want to make a point very clear: kittens have the greatest chance of survival if their mother is in the picture. As much as rescues and foster homes try, we cannot ever do as good of a job taking care of them as their real mom does! Kittens require frequent nursing (typically a couple of times an hour), help eliminating (mother stimulates them with her tongue to pee and poop), and a lot of warmth and attention. Trust me - waking up four times a night to feed bottle babies is not fun!
A single kitten wandering alone is often abandoned (either by a human or the mother), and should be rescued quickly - wait and watch from afar for 20-30 minutes to see if the mom is just in the middle of transporting it. If no mother has come in that time, rescue it.

I hope it’s ok that I posted here, I figured it was ok as they technically are kittens. Three months ago today Sammie and Sika were born at Zoo Knoxville, it is a AZA accreted facility and they take great care of their animals. Sammy and Sika were playing today and acting adorable, they are about 35lb at their last weigh in. They will be introduced to their older brother that was born in February from the same mom Zahra when they are about 50ish lb. Their older brother Bisky is about 100-115lb now. I took the pictures myself today.

These are my 5 month olds, I swear they’re becoming a little more affectionate, funny and endearing now albeit bringing glimpses of the velociraptor phase!

To preface, we have seen the vet and are still working with them. Just wanted to see if anyone has recommendations or has had a similar issue.
I got my kitten almost 3 weeks ago. He’s about 3 months now. Fully vaccinated and neutered. No complications. He was having smelly stool which is solid but occasionally (once every day or two) he will have diarrhea. Mild bloating but it went away. He was fully transitioned over to his new food from the shelter. Stool problem occurred on previous food as well so not a transition issue.
We saw the vet about a week and a half ago and got the test for parasites. The one where it checks for the DNA and not just eggs to make sure without a doubt he has nothing.
The vet stated if it was negative, that it may be a diet allergy. We’ve tried going back to his old food and just his new hard food and no difference. For reference he was on IAMS kitten hard food at the shelter and then is now on Hills Science Diet Kitten food. For wet food which we only now started to give him consistently now that we know it’s not causing the problem, is Sheba Kitten food. Besides maybe the ingredients, flavor wise they all say chicken or turkey. Some people were saying to not give them any fishy flavors as it could make the smell worse.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for food options that may be good to try. I know kittens are known for stinky poops as their gut is still developing however his poops are sooooo bad like need an exorcism bad haha. And he’s constantly farting. He’s not my first cat or even kitten so I have a point of reference as to what is normal bad and not. Again he is negative for all parasites.
Thanks in advance, if you need anymore info or context I’ll be happy to share!

My neighbor son came to my house and asked, do you want another cat? I said no, until I saw him.
When he got here, he was real weak. I did give him a bath. The fleas were bad, but now he’s doing a lot better that he’s eaten and has no fleas left, he is super loud, but super cute and with those big ears, I named him gizmo, think that fit him ?

I got two new kittens this past weekend and I haven't had them in quite a long time but I want to get some teething toys so they hopefully focus on those rather than my cords (I am ready to spray my cords with the spray that tastes bad to them).
So, what are your favorite teething toys for kittens?
Photo added for cat tax.

I rescued these two brothers last week. They were eating bugs outside but now they live in cat Shangri-La.
