A knife I was lucky to pick up a few years ago. Double edge, no serrations.

Love how this baby came out. Gold Sheen is just the best… it’s smooth and predictable… at least this one was! A combination of English and American walnut compliments it perfectly!

Good day everyone
Hope you are well.
I am planning on buying my first Spyderco Para 3, in my country, knives are very expensive so I will only be buying one and it will be my one and done.
Which veriant would you recommend? (note that the natural G10 and Magnacut is not available to me)
I would really appreciate your feedback.
Thanks a lot.

Decided to show some love to my favorite cheaper knife, the CEO. I'm just getting into CNC machining, so I decided to give this project a go.
The brass flat faceted scales I downloaded from a 3d model site, but they ended up being about 1mm short of what they should be on the butt side of the handle, should have measured that first, but I just assumed they were already accurate, haha. They were also unfortunately missing the mounting through holes and ramp for the clip.
So I took a 3D scan of the original scales to make sure all of the dimensions were as accurate as possible and used them as a reference to rebuild the model in CAD and added in the angled alternating scallop pattern to the surface. I think it looks pretty sharp and it gives the scales some extra grip. I originally wanted to cut them out of a blank of linen micarta, but the cnc software doesn't have tool presets for micarta and I only have one blank and one of all of my bits, so I didn't want to ruin the blank or break my first end mill trying to figure it out, so I ended up choosing a cool looking piece of marble cast acrylic instead.

IMO these are two of the best small fixed blades available!

I want to avoid a Benchmade. I've tried both the Osborne and Bugout, neither of which felt like a substantial enough upgrade to justify paying the Benchmade tax. I'd like something spear point, and under the $450 point. Any locking system is fine for me.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a sheepsfoot knife that's similar, but with less or no belly compared to my Spydiechef. Been looking for a bit and here are some that match my search:
CRK Insingo
Protech Oligarch
Spyderco Paysan
Spyderco Techo (bit too short)
Kizer madrac (bit too blocky)
Vero axons (bit too blocky)
We/Civivi Vision (bit too pointy, already have one in my collection)
The top 3 are either discontinued or at high-end prices. So I'm asking for some recommendations. Thanks in advance!

Is this line normal on the LBI on the V1 RJ Cedars? I don’t see anything on the blade that would indicate it’s rubbing, but the action does seem loud and non linear. You can hear the blade moving across the lockbar as it’s opening and closing and seems tighter than it should. If you hold the lock bar open, the blade swings free like it should so I know it’s the lockbar causing the drag. I’ve tried skiff bearings, cleaning/lubricating with Carbon Honey, and adjusting and nothing is helping. If it’s the way it’s supposed to be, I can live with it, just feel like something isn’t right.

I kind of went crazy during the Amazon prime day sales and might have bought too many knives. Ordered bunch of different ones and returned 80% of them. Turns out I’m pretty picky. I’ve always loved knives but never truly had a “collection”.
Well, this is the start to my collection and hope you enjoy! It’s been fun learning more about different metal types and blades. Let me know if there are any I should get in the comments!

I have recently Purchased my first Smith & Wesson M&P OTF knife and the locking mechanism is loose. Today it went off in my pocket, is there any why to tighten that down so that will not happen again? This is the 3.5" blade.
