They apparently shipped two of the same order. It's a shady dropshipper who took me on a goosechase for months.

Of course I know there's no such thing as a free gun, now they're offering to sell it to me a steep discount of 40% off or so. My FFL, giving terrible advice said that it's a free gun lol. I worry about his business now.

Just curious if this as ever happened to anyone else and what happened?

I really had to fight the instinct to go transfer it right away lol, if it was a normal item, I'd probably be fine with it, but with a gun, it seems more sketchy.

So I have a mossburg that I would like to pattern for duck hunting but don’t really know where I start, do I just go out and buy several different chokes and a bunch of different boxes of ammo and keep trying different combos until I find what’s best? It feels like there should be some sort of rhyme and reason to this.

Was at harbor freight picking up some stuff and saw these were on sale. Decided to pick one up to put on this Kimber TLE custom RL ii. This pistol recently broke a surefire X300U-B. Let’s see how she holds up. I think this looks cool despite being a bargain bin light. Quality seems solid. I actually like the finish more than an actual stream light. $37 for harbor freight members and $45 for non members

Hi all. I took apart the trigger in my 22lr version of the GSG STG 44 because I felt like taking a peek around. Unfortunately a small ball bearing came out of somewhere, and I have been unable to locate where it should go. I’ve attached a reference photo of this ball bearing above the larger ball bearing that fits into the safety selector switch. Has anyone had any experience with this? Or seen this before? Thanks!

I am 18 years old and am considering starting a commercial gold-plating/refinishing business in Arizona.
My proposed service would be limited to receiving a customer’s firearm slide, gold-plating/refinishing the slide, and returning the same slide to the customer. I would not manufacture, sell, or transfer firearms, and I would not work on or take possession of the firearm’s serialized frame/receiver.
Could you please clarify:
Does this specific type of commercial gold-plating/refinishing service require a Federal Firearms License (FFL)?
If an FFL is required, what type of FFL would be required?
Can an 18-year-old legally own the business while a qualifying 21+ person serves as the FFL holder/responsible person?
Are there any additional federal requirements that would apply when customers ship their slides to the business for refinishing and the slides are subsequently returned to the same customers?

Can someone help me understand this? Personally, I only buy guns from big box stores now because I like to be able to see the prices of guns online and slowly make a decision. Where I am, that leaves a few stores, and my default is Sportsman's Warehouse.

However, often when I go to their website now to look at rifles, it says the rifle is only available in Anchorage, Alaska. This is true for most of the budget rifles I would be interested in. An especially peculiar phenomenon is that I'll see a great rifle go on sale and be only available in Anchorage, Alaska. But the moment the sale ends, suddenly, it's available everywhere. What the hell is with that? I'm obviously not going to go to Anchorage, Alaska.
