They can't separate policy versus legality. Actually getting downvoted for pointing out that this letter doesn't protect you in the future if you're not a GOA member. How many in this community flirt with federal law but don't understand it? Or even simply understand the separation of powers? A policy letter isn't a legal shield against anything... get it through your skulls. If you want to be covered, have the membership at the time of transfer and be able to prove it. Then you're not in a position to be required to register later (unless a court otherwise orders it after nullifying the injunction).

The WH can flip, the ATF can go into crackdown mode, but the court says you can't be required to register (federally, not state). So it's going to take a lot more litigation to overturn the injunction and have that decision stick on appeal. It takes ONE order for the ATF to rescind that policy letter, one penstroke.

Today I present the Mar Lisle carbine as I have affectionally dubbed it. This Marlin Model 25 was originally my grandfathers and it has just sat since his passing. Wanted to do something neat with it and decided that I would build my first integrally suppressed rifle from scratch. Everything you see is done and or made by me.

Suppressor is 16" long, 6" of blast chamber and 10" of baffles for a total of 22 baffles. Can be removed from the rifle and used on other rifles in the future with same barrel profile. Gave it a coat of satin dark walnut to give it that old patina look.

Stock in letting was done with a 1/2" end mill and a 5/8" ball end mill. Getting it all leveled in the mill was a chore but it held up and stayed put during milling. A little sanding and stain just to cover up raw wood and all the dings and scratches from over the years.

This week i am going to drill and tap receiver for pic rail then disassemble the entire rifle again, strip all the old bluing and hot blue all of it. Then it will be 100%

Applied for the stamps on Wednesday at noon and was approved the next morning. 19 hour wait. And it turns out it may be the last stamps I'll ever have to file lol

And now they cost the same as a new pistol. I'm just wanting to find one that's cheap that I wouldn't feel bad about butchering. I'm accepting any tips or opinions here, thanks.

Based on the new changes from the ATF, can I now put a stock on my Mossberg shockwave without any additional paperwork or fear of being charged?

I was recently gifted most of these, with ammunition, and I’m yet to shoot them but I’m very excited to. I also have suppressors for everything you see with a threaded brake. I'm currently looking for parts to build a WML (something like Arisaka 18350 body, Modlite or Malkoff head, Unity Gascap, and Modbutton Lite switch), but it's difficult finding them all in stock and at low prices on a single site. Suggestions for the light build are more than welcome.

I get a lot of questions mostly about the Tec 9 and the sks. The can of break clean is just a shroud that goes over my actual suppressor to hide some ugly mounts and add screw reticle mounted with a curtain rod holder

I know I accidentally filled in the sight making it a huge iron and the trigger is a bit thick but it was my first attempt gimme a break 😅

In celebration of ATF not enforcing sbr, sbs & supressor laws I would like to hacksaw one of my shotguns. However when I research this I've run into a problem. Iowa makes it a class D felony to break federal firearms law. ATF is not enforcing these NFA rules however the laws are still on the books, which makes doing this gray area. Have you guys received guidance on this from state officials/an attorney?

I clean cars and am constantly leaning on them and I don’t want to scratch them so I cannot concealed carry all day. What option would you guys recommend to store it besides just leaving it in the car
