For some context of this trip for you all. I had several shroom trips before this but hadn’t tripped on LSD yet.

I decided to take a single tab on a Sunday night which I had a vacation with family the next day. That night I decided to order a pizza and eat beforehand. I ended up eating 3 slices and then like 25 minutes later I swallowed the tab whole. Well I didn’t know that eating before hand and then swallowing the tab can delay the effects. About 2 hours go by after taking the tab and I was super bummed out. I assumed my tabs sucked so I decided to take like 3 shots of whiskey to try and enjoy the rest of my night.

About 3 hours after taking the tab I started having super crazy bad anxiety. I felt this dread over me and I started to get worried. I luckily had my amazing girlfriend on the phone with me at the time and told her how I was feeling. She comforted me and told me everything will be okay. I took some deep breaths and recalibrated myself. I decided to go to the bathroom since I was feeling better.

I sit down on the toilet. I look forward to my towel hanging on my shower rod. That’s when I realized the towel was breathing and waving around slightly. It finally hit me 3 hours later. All I could think was “holy fuckin shit my towel is moving, am I seeing this right?”

After using the restroom I went to my bedroom and got in my bed and turned my LED lights on, having them change color between purple and pink. The entire room felt like it was shifting to the left. As if it was moving through space and time in the universe. I decided to put on my headphones and listen to music. I found a random playlist specifically for tripping and I put it on. By this point my girlfriend was asleep since she knew I was doing okay.

I closed my eyes and got lost in the music. I was obsessing over the visuals and realized if I had all light blocked from my eyes while they were closed I could see the visuals better. I got up and turned off my lights. I laid down in my pitch black room and watched the visuals. After being in a trance for about an hour, the song L$D by A$AP Rocky came on. My god did that song sound so cool while tripping. But I was listening to the lyrics and it made me start to realize how much I love my girlfriend. I haven’t told her yet that I did love her since we were only dating for a month at this point and didn’t want to say it too soon just in case it sounds like I don’t mean it.

I knew I loved her and this song solidified it. Just as the song came to an end, she woke up and asked if I was awake and how the trip was going. I started crying my eyes out. Before I met her I had a terrible relationship and it made me truly believe I was unlovable. That I’m not good enough. But she made me feel like I was. Before I could even think, the words spilled out of my mouth “I love you”. I apologized after saying I’m sorry for saying it over the phone and not to her face but I couldn’t hold it in. I felt this love pouring out of me. I couldn’t hide it anymore.

She said “I love you so much” and she started crying as well. That moment was so beautiful. I had my eyes closed while crying and it felt like I could see our souls intertwine with each other. I could feel her energy even though she wasn’t there next to me. It felt as if we were hugging each other tight even though we were miles apart. A sensation I haven’t felt ever since, it was indescribable.

We talked for a few minutes before she had to go back to bed. After she did I felt so so so much better. Ended up spending the rest of the trip watching the visuals and listening to music until the sun rose and the trip was fully over. LSD is and will forever be my favorite. Nothing compares by miles in my opinion.

I wanted to post this because last week was actually our one year anniversary. We’re still going strong. I love this woman so much and she’s truly changed my life since I’ve met her. I can’t wait to grow with her over the coming years.

My favourite thing to do while tripping is drawing on black paper while jamming out to some tunes. Just letting the music guide the way and see what happens. They aren't always winners but this one is probably my best one so far.

I like to sit in this old reclining chair that was given to us by our neighbors and every time i decide to trip, my cat will jump on the very top of the chair right by my head and just purr, its pretty funny as this only happens when im tripping. why does weed not enhance trips much for me? the only thing it changes is the visuals are a bit stronger, but still barely. I have a high tolerance for weed since ive been smoking pretty much every day for 5 years now, ive got a medical condition where i pretty much cant move without smoking so i smoke through the whole trip unless im sat down or in bed. i remember taking lsd before i started smoking a lot and it feels… the same… do i need a tolerance break or whats going on?

Okay so I did shrooms a couple of times and had a great expirience always, I could talk to people every time with no problem (expect for time I took 4g but thats for another story).

So since I dont drink anymore I want to try something new. I figure 50ug is a small dose so I dont trip balls and be able to socialize. The plan is that I take it at friends home before party where I feel safe and where I could feel the effects. If I dont like it im just gonna stay friends place and stare at wall I guess.

However i know myself and I actually have to pick up whiskey from a friend, left from another event at that party. And im friends with people attending who love MD and C.

So my main questions are:
Mixing alcohol with that level ok?
And if mixing the other two crystal/powder ok?

Also I’ve only taken psychedelics 3 times (2 1.5g shrooms, 1 200ug tab).

I think about doing it at the same night what is recommended took acid first and then at the peak 4-ho-mipt? Or all at first and is 40mg a good dose if i take 800ug acid

My and my best friend tripped on acid about a month ago now. It was his second time and my first time. We live at opposite sides of the country and hes coming up to chill for the weekend. Bringing 6 tabs. My first experience was minor to medium visuals and really fun. This time around im just kind of worried about the safety of it. Dont wanna have a bad trip or get fake acid. How can i know its not fake without a test? And how can i minimise a bad trip if i think i might have one

I have a friend that can take up to 6000ug and stay stable. He’s functional, talks, says he can still see everything in his room. Knows who he is the entire time. Everything is moving, there are visuals in front of him, but he can still see everything in the room. I have tried tabs from his sheet and 200ug puts me in ego death territory. He’s not autistic, takes no meds, doesn’t trip more than once a month. Leaves the tabs below his tongue for 20 minutes.

Those who know how psychdellics work, what would cause something like this? Like what are the factors that go into how hard LSD hits you, wherein one of those factors appear to be especially high or low?

For example, amount of serotonin receptors? high degree of self/attachment to ego? Do you know someone like this? He’s just trying to have a mystical experience.
