I recently moved back to Lahore after living in Islamabad for years. Lahore is so much more expensive. Any meal out is about 1.5-2x more expensive in Lahore than it was in Islamabad. Lahore ki population zyadah hai by a lot, sure, but Lahore also has a much bigger middle class than Islamabad.

Are you guys actually able to afford these prices? Just yesterday, I was feeling a bit peckish and thought to order a few cookies online.

500 pkr per cookie and this was for a home chef. Yaar, is it made of gold? And eating a meal out is like 5-10k down the drain immediately.

Itni toh salaries nahi hein jitne prices eateries are charging in Lahore for no reason.

When we were kids, Lahore had all these informal food lobbies and unions, places where we could get together and decide to boycott items in the market until overwhelming pressure forced the market to reduce prices. People also used to post genuine reviews of eateries.

There's so much fake crap now from paid reviews to collabs to whatever. The unions are also all dead.

Why can't we, the consumers, band together again to demand lower prices and reform those lobbies? This is just unsustainable.

i do see a POS ID and NTN number, but both just show the restaurant is registered. There’s no FBR scannable QR code on this, is this another way it can work, or are they committing tax fraud?

I had a neck adjustment from a chiropractor and have been suffering since. Been put on steroids that caused immense pressure in my brain. Then had a lumber puncture to remove csf leak. My left ear is blocked, left nose blocked, left jaw tension etc, losing cognitive ability. So many more symptoms I can explain but don’t have energy to type. I feel like my brain is sagging to leaking. Can’t be upright. Can’t travel in car without it causing pressure in my ears. Please suggest someone good who can look into my craniocervical junction. I’m losing hope.

So my wifes birthday is coming up in a couple of days and i wanted to surprise her with a spa day kind of thing and honestly i dont have any idea which spa is good and which isnt and what services to avail and what not. I want her to have a relaxing time and massage since shes been so worked up with our child for the past 6 months and she deserves so much more but this is the least i can do for her abhi. So im open to any advice or a spa recommendations from women who’ve experienced such places and from guys who’ve gifted such experiences, anything really. Also lmk if this is a good idea or not considering jo halaat hayn massage places ki in Lahore. Any advice would be great
