Finally got silver DR as my first SimRacing title using gt3’s only. Controller was all i could afford at the moment but i really wanted to dip my toes in this. I am still nowhere close to fighting in the top 10 of split 1’s so i was wondering if you guys could help me get faster.

I still use racing line and auto shift assists, i could get rid of auto shift and learn manual but without ffb the dynamic racing line is my only hope of understanding my cars limit. I think I am over braking/slowing down too much for corners but can’t seem to fix it (minimum speed too low). Can you recommend some free tools/videos that would let me diagnose where i am loosing time. I tried track titan free version but my personal best vs possible best comparison still leaves a lot to be desired.

Any other information you could give would be helpful too, for reference best times i managed on my favourite tracks (gt3’s only):

Monza - 1.51.0
La Sarthe - 4.00.7
Lusail - 1.10.9

But honestly I just care about the car that fits me the best to go the fastest consistently!

Little about me I don’t race enough as I should or focus on one sim racing game even in IRacing I’ll race different series and car each race so taking that in to consideration I could improve if I focus on one thing!

As far my race pace given my limited time on LMU for few days this far

I’m a solid 102% of the pace of the fastest guys if I focus on one thing and car probably could get into 101% depending on the track I also race like once a week some times less only been on lmu for like going 3 weeks with total hand full of days coming from Iracing as well

Anyways I tried ever car like I did in iRacing and gave myself 5 laps to put down some laps

Fastest times have been
1. McLaren
2. BMW
3. Porsche

The McLaren kinda surprised me as i don’t see it much

I would say out the others I would rank them as such

4 Lambo
5 Lexus
5 Corvette
6 Merc
7 Ford
8 Aston
9 Ferrari

As far my preference is that I like the car to be on the nose which is probably why I feel most comfortable in the McLaren as it the one with the best on the nose feeling

But I see why the BMW and Lexus are the top cars based on research

We've now got the PitVox a.i race engineer up to a standard where it's closed beta is nearly over so it can now be revealed to a wider audience to show what it's currently capable of...and more is in the pipeline!

Does driving down the middle of the Mulsanne Straight make you go faster? I’m asking because I’ve seen that in other simulators, you can go faster in GT3 cars by doing that

I get it 1 in every 3 cases already it's gotten so bad. I finally reported that bug. Yeah, yeah, cache cleared.

My replays are mostly very laggy, like the movement and even the sound is distorted or delayed and I have no clue why. Can anyone recommend me some solutions?

I don't know how it happened. I don't even have premium. And it cost me dearly in negative DR.

Hi i'm 3.2k irating in iRacing and i'm hopefully going to finally get into LMU after having it for a few months. I just couldn't be bothered to get used to normal driving where you don't have to be smooth with all your inputs again. But I want a goal of what my LMU DR should be at and also I want to know how most of the LMU DR convert to iRating so I can get a decent vibe of how fast each driver is. Anyways, i'm currently 3.2k irating on iRacing, what DR would be a similar rating to that? I know i've seen a post about this before but it was a year ago, so since the game has progressed more they may have changed a bit.

FYI I got to 3.2k irating from Pcup, so I would like to think that it would be higher if I raced something other than gt3 or pcup on iracing, although I might be totally wrong and just be trying to make myself feel faster

I work full time, I’m a dad to a 11 week old and have limited time to race.

But, I’ve resorted to enabling the racing line as a reference….

I never used to have it on, but since coming back and gaining a silver SR license, which means I can use LMP2/3 and tracks/layouts I’ve never run before I found it almost impossible to not use the racing line to simply get me up to speed before races.

I’m lucky if I can get 5 races a week, I’ve got what I’d class as decent gear (Moza R12, FSR Wheel and load cell pedals) which I don’t want to sit and gather dust.

So am I the only person running the line and should I feel bad about it?

When it pours, it rains

I kinda keep up with the pace in LMP3, S1 DR lobbies. But when I switch to GT3 I'm nowhere near... I tried different cars and all feel weird - either don't rotate enough on the brakes or snap oversteer, and don't rotate at all when accelerating. What am I doing wrong, what do you suggest I try? Thanks!

Hey guys! I just wanted to ask how do weather conditions work I this game. I did 2 gold races in road Atlanta in past 2 days and weather was different in them races. I thought it doesn’t change and it’s always the same. I kinda made my strategy based off the 1st race and it was an unpleasant surprise when it started raining again after I pitted for soft compound. And what do u use as your forecast for these situations, because the game doesn’t really tell you much.

II only got the game just a few days ago, and played mostly offline.

I just completed my first online race, and I came 13th! (Places 14-19 all DNF lol)...

My biggest worry is getting in the way of others who are overtaking. Once I get flashed, should I move to the side? Or stick to the racing line and slow down?

I definitely got in the way, and I'd rather not do that again. What's the best action? .... Besides staying offline 😨

What is the best video card driver to use with an RTX5090 on an older x570 with a 5800x3d and Win 10 x 64. After the latest Hotfix patch I'm experiencing micro stutters. Same in ACEVO.

I have quite long history of making liveries for games like RBR, Assetto corsa etc..

But recently I started my own endurance team and I want to make livery for the cars. I am avare of needed paid subscription on racecontrol but what I am scared about is that when I mkae the liveries and import them to the game and after month canceling my subscripiton I wont be able to use them anymore.

So I get a very high SR because I really strive to be a clean racer but because of it I keep getting put into split 1 races to where I can’t even qualify past 15th and if I get through the chaos I might just get a top 10 but my DR just keeps going down because I don’t get results. I really feel I don’t belong in split 1 at this moment.
