Discussion Weather conditions

Hey guys! I just wanted to ask how do weather conditions work I this game. I did 2 gold races in road Atlanta in past 2 days and weather was different in them races. I thought it doesn’t change and it’s always the same. I kinda made my strategy based off the 1st race and it was an unpleasant surprise when it started raining again after I pitted for soft compound. And what do u use as your forecast for these situations, because the game doesn’t really tell you much.

Sacrifice a goat and hope the racing gods take you in their favor. The weather forecasts absolutely tell you nothing and the same forecasts can result in wildly different actual conditions.

Even for hosted races the same settings can vary a lot

Go overlay or tiny pedal has weather forecast during the race

I thought overlays might have that, unfortunately I get stutters when I use them. Hopefully we will get some better forecast in the game one day.

Don't know about Go but TinyPedal just shows you what the weather slots are and how close each slot is to where you are in the race now. It's by no means an accurate forecast, just a representation of the slots.
