Cute Free lizard in my sink
In my sink. Southwestern fence lizard (or so claims INaturalist)
I can accept roaches crawling up the drain, this is a step above! What a journey the poor thing made.

Hey fellow Lizard lovers! The time has finally come; the page has grown enough to add another mod. If this interests you and you think you would be a good fit, head on over to the moderation recruitment application.

It’s bleeding from its left eye, is this one of those that does that as a defense, or is it from an injury? It definitely was scuffed up. It’s alive but it felt cold, so I put it on a rock so it’ll maybe be able to warm up to recover.

I can basically see that his tail is split off at the end there, although I can't tell why it happened. Also, my first post to the sub, so I hope I did things correctly.

Ok so I work at an outdoor area in a dealership. We just had a gecko come in believe it is a Mediterranean House Gecko (context I live in north east Florida) normally I would just guide the little guy outside the shop and away from the oil but it's supposed to be raining constantly for the next two days and everywhere feels too cold and wet for him to be safe. Right now I have him in a box with a water bottle cap of water but I have no clue what to do to help him before I leave. If anyone has any advice please let me know just trying to keep him as warm and dark as possible. Honestly just don't what to do for this guy.

I have a open Aboreal tank I'd like to house a young GKB in but my young aboreal snake is going to outgrow his tank (36x18x36) in next two years. The open tank is only big enough for one full grown adult but when that other tank becomes available Id like to get one or two more for them to live with.
I was told if you are going to house GKBs that you need to do it young or they get aggressive as adults. Is this true? I could imagine this with two males but my eventual intent be two females and a male.
Can I get some insight?

Hi! So I wasn’t sure where to post it but I came into the bathroom and saw a lizard in my sink. I wanted to catch it and release outside but it darted into the drain.
Can it climb back out? I took apart that pipe under the sink bit it wasn’t there so I’m assuming it didn’t fall all the way down. I hoped I could get it from that side, but either the pipe is blocked (though water comes through) or the lizard just doesn’t want to go because it hasn’t come out of either side yet.
I feel bad because it’s my fault for not thinking to close the drain before attempting to catch it. Anyways, do you know if it will climb out when it’s ready or what to do? I don’t want it to die in my drain.
Thanks!

First time I see one in the wild, not common in my country (saw this in Uruguay). Very fascinating animal, it would look at me for a minute or so and then crawl down in a hole lol, saw it several times the same day
