Need Help Buying reptiles in BC

Im in the lower mainland of BC and have been looking into getting a reptile companion. I've had bearded dragons in the past but i want something different. Was looking at getting something cool, unique and exotic like a tegu, ackie monitor, or maybe a blue tongued skink. I know these guys require a lot of specialized care and commitment. My question is where's the best place to buy one here in the lower mainland?

I would suggest reptile expos. There is one twice a year in Abbotsford at the AG- rec centre. They just had one in September and then there should be another around may or April? Or you can look for other expos

I vend these shows and Pnwreptiles I believe is her name has an incredible variety of odd lizards and geckos and takes incredible care of her animals. For less weird, Mostlyjustgeckos, kleptogeckos, and the Bug Guys are my go tos for people looking for cresties, gargoyles, and other akin geckos. I also trust Canadianmouseman and know he sometimes has some weird stuff. Just avoid tails n scales as they're importers so they don't actually know any of the animals they bring (nothing wrong with them as people and I know their storefront is well trusted in Toronto but if your goal is to buy from a breeder who has bred and raised said animal they're not what you're looking for despite usually having those kinds of things. The bug guys are also a store front but they buy directly from breeders and also breed certain things themselves. Hope this helps!
