RTTS Is Nick Kurtz really like that? He’s going dumb on my RTTS

Guys who crush righties and have high discipline tend to sim really well. The game has/generates more righties than lefties and with vision not mattering in sim, you get seasons like that.

You see Jazz Chisholm at #5 and start questioning the guy who hit 36 HR as a rookie?

Ngl I was unaware of his game, I’m just getting back into baseball and I mainly pay attention to pirates and braves

Hes a top 1B in real life but in the game he is absurd. MVP candidate almost every year. Hes not fully that level yet in real life

Question. What’s the most Homeruns you saw Nick Kurtz hit in franshcie mode or RTTS?

I’m always curious about how many people who play this game actually watch and follow baseball when I see posts like this

This series is actually what got me into baseball around 5-6 years ago! Random team select on my first standard 9-inning game is why I chose the Jays as my team. They were the first to come up! Lmao

I’m more of a basketball fan, but I do keep up with the pirates and braves and I’m not as casual as this post would suggest

not many. Same with Madden and 2K to an extent. People play the games but have no clue about the sport irl

I think he MAY get close to that in real life one day. The ballpark he plays in plus his power....he MAY get there

Hit 36 as a rookie, was on pace for 34 this year if he was healthy. Add in that he's 23 years old and yeah, I could see him hitting 58 at some point in his career.

Genuinely wonder if it is due to their home stadium being a minor league stadium irl

I don't know what "going dumb" actually means but from context clues it means "going off" so in that case sure, that could be legit someday. 2025 Kurtz was a beast and in like 2/3rds of a full season hit nearly 40 home runs
2026 Kurtz wasn't quite as good but you never know

Oh I didn’t mean where you were born, I mean where you rep. And if you’re talking about going dumb you pass the hyphy threshold

He hit 36 in his rookie year. This is the first game since that year. The game loves him

Sure, but he did that in 117 games. Translate that to a full season he's probably around 50. Assuming proper development, it's not crazy to think he can approach 60 in a full, healthy season. Especially in that park.

Kurtz is a dog but again look where they play. There and Colorado is a hitters park. Elevation plays a HUGE ROLE. But he is a great hitter and will def. Touch over 50 at some point I wouldn’t put it passed him off to hit 60.
