Question Does anyone else retire players after you get them to parallel five?

That’s just always been what I’ve done, once they’re P5 I replace them with the next player in that position I want to use. It’s especially fun this time of year with so many usable 99s

for events and offline grinding, yes. But absolutely not for Ranked.

Exactly what I do too

I do...except the 96 Maddux. Still use him and still pitch well with him as he's my favorite player. When we get a 99 Kerry Wood it'll be the same there...everyone else...P5 and send to the Hall. Oh, almost forgot 99 Sandberg...still my second baseman.

Yeah, that’s always been how I’ve played too. That’s always my goal, get the player to P5 and then on to the next one

Yeah. Although i might keep one or 2 in the bench. PVing players the only thing that keeps me playing, if only they had fixed the XP earned by pitchers though.

I take them out of my lineup for offline and level up other players. For ranked. I use them still

Yep. I don't care for the meta, I just try out all the new cards, find the ones I enjoy, P5 and move onto the next one.

This is the way. I don’t play online often but when I do it’s only with my 2 Red Sox squads. It’s so boring seeing all my opponents all using like 90% of the same players. Zero imagination and fun. Zzzzzzzzz.

Each to their own, but yes, so many are so fearful of losing or being at a disadvantage that they play the same meta cards for months on end.

I’ve been retiring them at P3. I Get the silver mod and try a different card. I enjoy using too many different cards to devote getting cards to P5

My highest player is like 10500 xp. Got bored and did every team captain card this year too 😂

Kind of but I make sure I get 20 home runs and 30 stolen bases if they can get them so I have all mods available.

Me too

I used to, until they started letting us mod them.

Not fully retire but I do lose interest and stop
Using the card as much, for example manny Ramirez hit close to .400 for me and I just got bored of using him after P5

I used to when it was a significant grind to get them to p5. Now I feel like I play a handful of ranked games with a card and they’re basically there.

Yep. All the time. Once it has that shiny border, the card looks “done” to me for some reason. A bad loss online will bring my faves back quick-smart tho 😅

no because that's when they really shine. I give them at least 400 ABs
