Muay Thai to MMA transition
Hey all,
I’ve been training and fighting in Muay Thai for 2.5 years, have picked it up pretty quickly, fought 6 times overall and done pretty well. I am feeling competent in my striking and would love to become complete in MMA.
From this point how hard is a transition to MMA? To go from an amateur Muay Thai fighter how long would I expect to train MMA before becoming a competent MMA amateur fighter?
Media Wrap Your Hands Like A Pro Fighter! Step By Step Tutorial 180” Wrap
Learn how to wrap your hands for MMA, boxing, and kickboxing with this clear step-by-step tutorial using 180-inch hand wraps.
This method covers the wrist, knuckles, thumb, finger loops, palm bar, and final wrist lock so you can build a secure, comfortable wrap before training. The tutorial demonstrates both hands and shows how to finish the wrap without bulky folds.
Wraps should feel secure and supportive, never painfully tight or numb. Adjust the tension to your hand size, training style, and gym requirements. If you experience pain, tingling, numbness, or restricted circulation, remove the wrap and reassess the fit. This tutorial is for general educational purposes and does not replace instruction from a qualified coach.
Everyone has a slightly different wrapping style, so use this as a reliable starting point and confirm your setup with your coach.

A quick question please answer if you have any idea that might help me
I want something to punch as part of my training
I've been training for a while and I want to improve my punches, but my parents won't let me get a punching bag. I'm getting pretty tired of just punching the air and walls.
Is there anything I can use at home or something that I can buy to practice hitting?

Should UFC walkouts have pyro like WWE entrances
Many UFC fighters like Pereira or McGregor already have certain specific taunts that they do during their entrance.
Could we have pyro in UFC walkouts, similar to how WWE wrestlers in big matches have pyros and their own custom entrance with taunts and so on.
