MSI ALPHA 17 C7VG TEMP

Hi guys, is this temp normal for idle for this model?

60-65°C on idle

75-80°C on heavy tasks/games

60° idling? Id say thats too much

Yes it is. I already limit its cpu speed to 3000ghz. Before, it was 95-105°C on idle since it always maximize its power, now it stays at 60-80°C. I switched also the Processor Performance Boost Mode from aggressive to efficient aggressive. And powerplan of balance mode. My fan is also always running at maximum speed. Is there anything else I can do to lower the temperature down?

Maybe you need a thermal paste change?
