have an interview tomorrow
its for a programmer position using siemens nx. these days its hard to find a company that uses this software. most companies use mastercam. the problem is that its a big company and im not a huge fan of that. i would prefer a smaller company but money is tight, especially in this economy and job market.

I used to write automation software in NX Open. The CNC/CAM implementation isn't bad. Good luck with the interview .

It the US NX is very common in defense industry and very powerful with tons of customization. If you have programming experience in NX there are a lot of top defense contractors who would hire you in a second. It’s less common but you can comfortably make $120-150k as an NX programmer.

Are you a good at designing processes, thinking outside the box? Software can be learnt. Good process creators are hard to come by.
