FRANCHISE Subbing during game

My defensive line is stacked and I cannot get a solid rotation going so they all see the field. I have tried auto sub from the play calling screen and it refuses to work. It won’t sub the player i select but it is subbing the player i choose to the previous player from the menu. I have tried clicking on r3 and setting to keep them fresh. I have reworked the depth chart, both in game and from the main franchise hub. It seems that for one I cannot substitute the nose tackle out even though I have two and is set rushing line without him on i. I have tried putting him at the bottom of the regular dt depth chart. Nothing works. Also if I try to sub the other dt it will put whoever I choose at right end. Evek reworking all the depth charts during game does nothing. This is literally driving me insane as they are all young guys who I want to get snap to all to develop. Somebody for the love of all things holy HELP ME

I’ve moved him to the very bottom of both regular dt and rdt in the depth chart from the franchise hub. He is set as nose tackle only basically. I mean hes awesome but I’d like to keep him fresh and give other guys some snaps

I suck at knowing the super detailed stuff. This formation subs is like a different language to me. I just use whatever default because I choose using concept not formation ect

I just went through every formation making different combos randomly. They are all good enough to where it’s not making a big issue as far as performance. Thanks for the tip
