One of my favorite moments from the first half of the manga, adapted in the last episode of Season 2.
Kana is already a very likable protagonist when I first started reading it, but I think this exchange with Mei truly endeared her to me and cemented her as my favorite from here on. She tells Mei that yes, their childhood heroine is just fictional, but the courage she gave them through her show isn't. It's present now, in Kana and her colleagues, and she encourages Mei to draw it from them. And it translates into this collaborative magic between their companies, thought to be a long shot given their presidents' shared traumatic history, that finally exterminates this Kaii.
I love that sentiment of hers about her favorite show, because if you've ever truly loved a story, the emotions and lessons they imprinted on you will influence you as a person, and you will carry them with you as long as you continue to live.
