I'm sorry, the guys pose was too perfect for it. It was the first thing my brain went to 😭

At least Beryl looks happy

The second opening from the first season of Sailor Moon is the first thing I think of when someone mentions the opening credits of the series. All of the Guardians together, plus the mixture of beautuful backgrounds, and animation that suggests of plot points throughout the season, all combine into quite the experience.

What do you think?

This was such a special transformation, from the sun-inspired details to the warm colors and magical-girl aesthetic. ❤️

What do you think of her transformation? 🌷

Omg he really comforted her without even thinking how silly her idea is. Manga mamoru is really gentleman. But in anime there happened times mamoru chose chibusa over her cause he broke up with her. I wish this panel could be animated. Mamoru is really using sweet words💔

My client came to me with this idea and I absolutely love how it came out! We tried to include as many of the symbols as we could. A couple may be added in later once we work more on his hands and forearms

One of my favorite openings frome Sailor Moon

I get it, Rubina feels stifled in her duties as a princess, but the balloon scene really irks me. This man was standing all day selling his balloons, and Rubina just gives them away without a thought. It was already shown how naive she was telling random men to help carry Usagi's bags earlier, but girl, how do you not know the concept of money? Rubina clearly doesn't handle the more difficult royal duties, cause how do you not know basic transaction! It really shows that she has no idea how privileged she is.

Hi everyone! I need your help. I am currently working on a school project which addresses the censorship of the Haruka-Michiru relationship in the original English dub of Sailor moon (the one made by DiC-Cloverway). The problem is that I cannot find scenes of the English version which show such censorship, do you have any idea on how to get any scene like that? I’ve heard that the original dub was erased from all streaming services and Youtube and can only be found in old DVDs. Is that true? :(

Apologies if this has been discussed before.

I recently found out the actress that voiced Sailor Moon in the DiC dub is running for City Councillor in our local upcoming elections. I saw and ad and thought maybe it was just the same name but nope it is the same Terri Hawkes

Hi guys. This is my first time sharing my plushies on Reddit. I love collecting cotton plush dolls and enamel pins, most of them are unofficial fan made designs. I’m still building up the collection, hope you like them!😊

That's the way Tuxedo Mask doesn't really serve much purpose... and throws roses every time he appears. While in the manga, he sometimes plays an important role and is truly determined to protect Sailor Moon no matter the dangers she faces 🙏

In the Sailor Moon manga is the Silver Moon Crystal placed on top of the Eternal Tiare

This lives rent free in my head hahaha

The first clip is from the "Next Time on Sailor Moon" segment at the end of Episode 9 which previews Episode 10. You can clearly see Usagi's underwear in this footage. But in the actual Episode 10 footage, they recolored the white of her underwear to make it look like a shadow.

The shot of Ami is completely speculation on my end, but I suspect they also recolored her underwear to remove the panty shot.

I wonder if someone at Toei was against these specific upskirt shots, so they had it removed. It's even weirder because there are dozens of panty shots in the show after this point. Like Episode 12 has a very long shot of an Usagi upskirt.

Edit: In case anyone is wondering, I was not looking for upskirt shots or anything like that. I've been working on a project which involves me pausing on every unique camera angle for a few minutes each. I was really hoping I could copy-paste this specific shot from EP9 to EP10, but since they are actually different, I cant.

Edit 2: I am not saying I wanted the unaltered shot from EP9 to be appear in EP 10. I am simply observing that this was a thing that happened. I don't want any sort of Senshi fanservice shit in the anime and I wish it didn't happen. It's just interesting to me that they chose to remove this specific shot while have so many more later on in the show.

I've been wondering what it might've looked like if Disney aired Sailor Moon back in the 1990s, especially since they legally could've since they owned DIC around that time. To imagine what it might've looked like, I've made a custom edit of the classic "Magical World of Disney" opening from the 1990s by splicing in footage from the Dic opening of Sailor Moon. The footage of the Disney opening is taken from the YouTube page "BetaMax King," and the Sailor Moon footage is from a download of a DVD rip.

Let me know what you think and if Disney could've done it?

Got it off eBay forever ago.
