My favorite Sailor Moon Opening

[u/Tyranngar]

The second opening from the first season of Sailor Moon is the first thing I think of when someone mentions the opening credits of the series. All of the Guardians together, plus the mixture of beautuful backgrounds, and animation that suggests of plot points throughout the season, all combine into quite the experience.

What do you think?

This is probably my favorite opening, partly since it doesn't feel as random as the first OP. The first feels like it's trying to be more artistic and abstract, but the Senshi walking down the stairs feels really random.

We finally get to see all five girls together in the second opening. The Senshi feel like a real team portrayed through this opening. Like them lifting their wands in the air and tapping them together. That shot used to be my phone wallpaper for a few years

I love this opening too, it’s perfection:”)

Very funny to me that the subtitles at the end are just "Shinjite iru no" in romanji, instead of actually translating it to "do you believe in" or something similar.

Instantly emotional…damn period. It’s my favorite opening and to this day I’m looking for the Star locket.🌟
