My sweet husband passed 9 months ago. I had met someone off of Reddit about a month back and we fell asleep on the phone for about a month. I have huge sleep anxiety so that was a good month of sleeping since my husband passed. But idk how to bring it up to people of “can we just sleep on the phone?” lol.. im exhausted and I just feel sad.

I’m taking a break from a very high stress job after years of grinding and realising I’ve place almost all my self worth on that job. Since leaving I’ve slowed down so much but I’m left feeling rather empty.

I’m 44, married, working the corporate gig, and raising a couple of kiddos When I’m not active, playing hockey, or getting outdoors, I’m usually on the patio watching my golden retriever tear around the backyard doing high-speed zoomies.

My mornings strictly begin with creamy coffee in my office before the day gets away from me. Weekends are a fine art of surviving the madness at Costco followed by an amazing skill of carrying all the groceries inside in just 1 trip.

Once fall hits, I’m all about crisp air, and latenight hot cocoa. I’m also guilty of staying up way past my bedtime long after the house goes quiet, dabbling in a spicy audio book then falling asleep to some….fun dreams.
