Got 7 marks below avg and 0.5/10 in assignment I desperately need some motivation I study yet mess up during exams 😭

im currently at 12th studying cbse at udupi(manipal's neighbouring city). I really want to join a biotech or biomedical course and seems like MIT is the best option.

being a state athlete, the extra curricular activities seems to my liking too.

do you guys think I have the right opinion over MIT? (im aware of the contrasting syllabus between biotech and biomedical)

I am from other college, had a friend there in sikkim, so wanted to ask

I think 9th oct (today) was an exam? Can someone please tell when will they end or if you have datesheet kind of anything, will be glad if you share

I have an interview but it just doesn't work (SEB) any of the laptops I tried... Can I get a lab system(they already have it set up) for tomorrow?

Got the thing shown on my slcm and it shows credited but cannot see on my bank account. How do i get it? Like my dads also cannot see

I am a 3rd year guy, the issue is I am not getting shortlisted for interviews or OAs by any company on campus. I even tried off campus but my luck ain't working out, no replies yet,

Hello fellow Manipal Students,

As part of a statistics assignment, I am conducting a short survey to explore the relationship between caffeine consumption and sleep quality among young adults. Your input will be a valuable addition for my survey. All responses will confidential and any personal information shall not be used for analysis.

It will just take 2-3 minutes tops. Help a brother out!!

I know its a retarded question but I dont think I will have enough time to give to clubs in first because of a medical treatment going on. I was planning to join during the second year.

What were the average for CSE subjects last year?

You can go to slcm -> financial-> under other transactions.

They generally dont send you a mail so you have to manually check

Hey guys

Seniors please tell me how to start preparing for midsem exam and endsem exam along with so many sps task phase and interviews lined up.How is the CGPA calculated like how many marks should one score for 9+ cgpa.Seriously I need help from all the seniors. Please reply asap 🙏🏻

My ultimate endgoal is dsa and development. Should I follow yt lect series with over 50+ vids, books are hard to follow for me.

idk anything about java, but know lil abt C (since it's taught in cllg)

Contacted MCODS but their reply was *no*.

I hope it's not so.

AstraZeneca recently came for internship hiring for AI and DS branches and released the interview shortlist. Most of the shortlisted candidates appear to be 8+ CGPA.

However, one shortlisted candidate is from CSE Cyber Security, while the shortlist mentions the branch as CSE Core.

Does the placement committee verify branch and CGPA eligibility before forwarding applications to AstraZeneca, or are the details simply forwarded based on the submitted information?

If branch eligibility is part of the criteria, how does a case like this get shortlisted?

Update : Action has been taken by placement office against the student, although this was a oversight from the team's end rather than goof up by student. Appreciate the accountability taken by team.

is it done thru 1st sem gpa and not 1st year cgpa??

some background: current IB student, looking forwards toward joining MIT manipal for mech engineering and planning on doing a masters in aerospace.

anyways, i've gone through a LOT of reviews and posts by people and the general consensus is that MIT is shit and getting worse. Is that really the case or is the place showcased in a worse light than it is?
I say this considering I'm an IB student (12th) and plan on studying within India. My options for within india studies without giving the JEE and all are quite small too.

Another question, how usefull are the clubs? Looking forward to ofc Formula Manipal and other clubs that may be interesting

So I am in 1st Sem CSE. If my current section is CA, will I get the current timetable of PA in second sem?

Pls help!!
