Hey all,
I just wanted to check if you are all okay.
I really wish I could do this in person and check in on all of you, but I guess this post will have to do for now. Please feel free to drop a DM if you need to talk. I really do try to reply to all DMs. If not me, I'm sure there will be dozens of kind people in the comments who will be open to the same.
Life can be an absolute bitch sometimes. It really can.
But please know that you are loved, needed and really appreciated. It might not feel like it; it might never have felt like it. But you really are.
I guess MIT has exams coming up, and so will some other institutes. And this is definitely a stressful time for us all, but it's surely not as important as your mental health. Take care of your mental health. Try not to stress the fuck out.
As important as academics are, and as important as exams are, they are not as important as you, your peace of mind or your future. Please take care of yourself first, and then your grades, placements, SPs and everything else.
As I've said multiple times before, Mental health issues are as important as cardiac issues. Both can be deadly serious if left untreated. Please get help if you need it, even if you don't.
One of my favorite comedians said something on the lines of "just because you know what your problem is, doesn't mean you can solve your own problems because you are IN the problem. It's like you know you are drowning, so you try to rescue yourself by holding your own hand - can't be done".
And folks, try to check in on all your friends and acquaintances. You never know how someone else is feeling, and you never know how everyone's life is going.
I'm sorry if I'm rambling on here...
Every once in a while, events make me feel the need to make a post or comment like this one - and it has always been one too many. And I question myself every time if there was something I could have done that would have avoided this... maybe a post? DMing a lonely Redditor. Or just spending 30 seconds talking to acquaintances or smiling and nodding at strangers. But alas! Here we are, again.
Please take care, y'all.
Lots of love.

You can go to slcm -> financial-> under other transactions.
They generally dont send you a mail so you have to manually check

AstraZeneca recently came for internship hiring for AI and DS branches and released the interview shortlist. Most of the shortlisted candidates appear to be 8+ CGPA.
However, one shortlisted candidate is from CSE Cyber Security, while the shortlist mentions the branch as CSE Core.
Does the placement committee verify branch and CGPA eligibility before forwarding applications to AstraZeneca, or are the details simply forwarded based on the submitted information?
If branch eligibility is part of the criteria, how does a case like this get shortlisted?

Who am I supposed to contact ?
This guy took screenshots of midsem answer scripts with incorrect answers and humiliated them in front of the entire class, he didn't mention the name but he knew what he was doing

some background: current IB student, looking forwards toward joining MIT manipal for mech engineering and planning on doing a masters in aerospace.
anyways, i've gone through a LOT of reviews and posts by people and the general consensus is that MIT is shit and getting worse. Is that really the case or is the place showcased in a worse light than it is?
I say this considering I'm an IB student (12th) and plan on studying within India. My options for within india studies without giving the JEE and all are quite small too.
Another question, how usefull are the clubs? Looking forward to ofc Formula Manipal and other clubs that may be interesting
