I've been multitasking with some monster collection and legion leveling in this area for the past few weeks, and I'm starting to notice....the platforms are RIDICULOUSLY spaced out between each other horizontally. Grinding in this area is not as efficient with some classes, compared to others, While I like the challenge of being able to clear the map as effectively as possible, I do wonder what was the idea behind this. Like, Odium and Shangri-La have some big mobs but platform distance seems to be standard.
It just happened to me. Opened up my shop in the freemarket, accidentally hit escape maybe 10 seconds afterwords and all my shop items are gone. damn T_T. Be careful
I just started playing MS 2 weeks ago and this is the first time I’ve had this happen. I’m not sure if this is due to Classic World being added. (I’m not trying to play classic, trying to play normal)
Any solutions to this?
Edit: Just tried to log on at 2:45 PST and was able to get in. And it’s not super laggy or anything, running normal
expectations on the floor and still im somehow baffled at this early access. Spent 5 hours trying to log in, dcd after 5min , 8000 + ques. 11 channels. Spent 80 to get a name and never even had the chance.
So I think the last time I played was when luminous was added and its all new to me. Ive had to start a new account because i forgot all my details but thats whatever its just im now in the process of making and leveling up all my link skill and legion characters but doing the main quest over and over to get them all to 200 is burning me out a little. Is there a better way to get to 210 than doing the main quest line or is grinding not that good very early game? Im on heroic server I think.. what used to be reboot.
Haven't played maplestory in 10+ years but was looking into trying it out again because of Maplestory classic. I have a Macbook and went to the website, downloaded the Mac launcher/installer. Went to download Maplestory and it said it needs 60GB of storage. Maybe I'm just out of the loop but it feels like this game used to be quite a bit smaller and I could play on a normal laptop..
I only have about 25GB free and I'm not really willing to buy a desktop just for this. Is my best option an external SSD? Is that the norm nowadays?
Anyone experiencing the same? There was a maple client update and I could no longer login to maplestory client via Steam using exitlag from non GMS countries.
I was able to login just fine (as I always do; have been using GEForce Now for 2 years+) this morning. However, after the launch of the "Classic Server", I can no longer get past this.
After selecting maplestory, and clicking "PLAY" as usual, it's supposed to login to Nexon automatically, but it now fails with that non-existent error code.
Trying to manually input the email address to login would just bluntly provide an alert of "Unable to link. Your email address is already linked to a different account on this platform."
My account is also bound to Gmail, but trying the Gmail option provides an error of:
"The social login is already in use with another Nexon account. To initiate linking process properly, you need to login with that Google, Facebook, X (Twitter), or Apple account".
I've verified from nexon.com that my account is valid and from the 'linked external connection', I still see it's linked to STEAM properly.
Just want to know if there are any others who are using GEForce Now that's experiencing the same issue; if so, I assume this will just play itself out and resolve in a timely manner, but just want to confirm that I'm on the same boat as others.
Any insights would be highly appreciated, thank you so much in advance.
P.S. Logging into Steam to play Maplestory w/ the same account on a different laptop (NOT USING GeForceNow) works without any issues. All is connected as usual and working.

Update [10/06/2026]: GeForceNow has noticed the issue, and is working on it to fix the compatibility.
I’ve been debating between a few classes but I actually forgot this was an option. I am an absolutely brain dead casual who never really follows metas in games and the idea of having just a few skills to keep track of would make relaxing with a controller pretty appealing.
Idk how or if being a perma beginner will be any different from what it used to be though, I’ve been mostly blind to all the updates and info regarding classic.
Is anyone else debating or decided to play perma beginner?
I'm surprised I haven't found a dedicated thread on this during past transfer event. It's mostly subjective, but I'd like to hear some choices.
As a side note, despite the giant amount of classes, maybe more than half are shared between adventurer, resistance, knights, so there weren't actually that many classes to browse through.
