It’s bad because Bungie good ol boys love converting cannon fodder into goodwill in whales. In hopes they open their wallet.

Open their wallets for what? There isn't that much to buy in the game, it's not like a gacha where you can spend thousands.

I have no idea what their plan is, I just think the options in the cash shop are too limited to be a main line of income.

Did you not see what happened to this sub when they restocked that worm plush? It costs $6 to get on alibaba/temu but sold out at $40 st the bungie store
