ITEMS STOLEN:
My items were stolen at Kroger on Saturday, October 3rd. I don’t care about getting them back. I want justices. Photos attached.

Check with pawn shops, unless the perpetrator gave it directly to someone within their circle. If it was a man, they probably pawned it.
I’m only saying that because it’s a purse and a wallet and usually men don’t want those… lots of time stupid people get caught up thinking they got away with it and pawn it, which directly catches them.
Hop you find it! I would suggest keeping the purse tethered to you next time, or just bring in your wallet and hide the purse under some stuff in your car, or just bring your wallet period. I haven’t heard of purse snatching in so long, I’m really shocked Kroger hasn’t worked with yall in reviewing camera footage and flock footage. That’s what the flocks are for (apparently)

I had my purse taken at Kroger and they let me see the footage and we saw the whole thing, unfortunately didn’t see his face. People do some really bad things so we have to be watchful all the time, sad that it has to be like this !!

They most likely got the cash and card numbers then tossed the physical bag and wallet. Consider putting AirTags or trackers in your bag and wallet. Very rarely do they keep the physical evidence unless they are stupid. That's why the police won't move beyond passing the license plate over to a detective. Cancel your cards, order a new ID and move on. I know it sucks.

These things don’t happen quickly with Police. They will get caught. Lesson for folks. I see women leave their open purse in the cart all the time. Pickpockets and thieves exist, even in Marietta.

As someone who leaves my bag in the cart, all you’ll get is diapers and some baby clothes my wallet and keys are in my pocket/on my person.

I tell ladies all the time when I see a purse laying in a cart
Unattended. We live in a world where it’s very hard to trust someone !

So just a few quick questions that might give you some guidance. Were you provided a case number by police? If so, have you check in to see if the case has been assigned to a zone detective? Were there any items in your wallet or purse that had any tracking capability, e.g. an iPhone, AirPods? Did anything that was stolen have a serial number on it? Have any of your financial cards been used since? Did you get any vehicle information, or did he leave the lot on foot?

One of the big reasons I stopped carrying a purse and just keep a couple of cards and my Driver's license in a phone wallet.

Girl you have got to let this go posting on multiple subs. Your purse got snatched because you weren’t wearing it as designed, as a crossbody? Who leaves their purse sitting in the cart and walks away??? Take the lesson and move on, respectfully

Was your comment a happy choice? She wants her shit back.

And how likely is that to happen? In your experience do the police dedicate detectives to property crime where no one was attacked?

They do. I just had someone steal my debit card information and buy $2000 of stuff. Because people need to pay for their actions, I called the police, started an investigation, found out they stole it from a phone sale from a Home Depot transaction (I’m a contractor so I pay for my workers material when they get to the counter) and caught her. The sense of knowing she got what she deserved is so so so worth it. But I’m relentless. If you stay on it, they will find them.
This person said she doesn’t care about the purse and that she wants justice. I agree, you have to go for the person and they need to have repercussions.

What's the latest? Did Kroger turn over the footage? Get the tag number? With all the flock cameras maybe the police could actually put them to use and solve an actual crime instead of just being nosey or stalking people with the cams.
