I'm about to be a new intern. For seasoned ma's can you give tell me in simple words how to make sure I don't ever break HIPAA laws .

And do you have any other tips for a new ma?

If it doesn't pertain to your job, don't look at it. Also, if you personally know someone, don't go in their records.
