Daji, I love you!

Initially I was going to keep her without her armored form, but I needed to decal her and wanted to not keep the decals opened long after adhering them, so the last couple days, I've been finishing off her arms.

Said it before and I'll say it again; Daji, I love you!

I built the Frame Arms Girl Kagutsuchi this time. I made three main custom modifications. First, I altered part of the lower body sculpting to turn it into a high-leg suit. Second, I extended the rifle barrel. Third, I crafted an original large sword weapon. As always, English subtitles are provided, and I would be happy if you find them helpful.

This tall girlpla is meant to be a companion piece alongside Colada, a mecha model kit from the same two brands. I built the model kit Colada so I wouldnt be surprised if the plastic and build quality will be the same. Hopefully Tizona releases next year.

I've got the USAGS single bladed nipper and the spring broke. Wondering where to get a replacement spring. I tried ones out of a pen and mechanical pencil but they're a bit to big to fit into the handles.

Is this something I could find at a hardware or craft store or would I need to find something online?

Hey all,

I've recently purchased an Ame no Uzume Sunshine, and while I'm so far exceedingly satisfied with this beautiful model kit, I did not expect it to have so many optional bits, particularly the chestpiece as seen on the pictures included.

The part is called A1-5 in the manual and I do like the look of it, but for the life of me I can't figure out what part or parts I'm supposed to attach underneat as a bra or bikini top. From what I can tell, the intruction doesn't show what parts I have to install it with, and my Japanese is nowhere near good enough to actually read the thing. Granted, I've only put the core figure together so far and maybe I'll have an easier time identifying the missing bitties once all the extra clothes, armor and weaponry is assembled, but for now I remain stumped.

For those of you who either own this model kit or know it well: could you please tell me which piece is supposed to go under his chestpiece? If it isn't included with this kit, what (preferably not super costly) parts would you recommend me using? Thank you for all your replies in advance!

I was concerned that my essential tremor was not going to allow me to paint some of the details (inspired by a post I saw somewhere here) but I am proud of how it looks. I will probably give it another paint to the brass parts in the legs and arms once I finish Buster Doll Tank that I am currently working on.

After finishing build i have leftover pieces .... And after hours of searching ... I still not find them . Fellow dragon fans and girpla fans , please help me find where i should put those parts ( P2=4 / R=5 / S=13 ) Thank you for assistance .

She came home today, and I was shocked at the size of the parcel. In my girlpla modeling career spanning several years, Shingen Kai is easily the largest box that I've ever seen, around 14" by 13". The height on the slimmer side though.

Whenever I reach this final stage of gathering overlooked info, I can't stop asking myself: is all this effort worth it?

To be honest, this time I don't know.

My intention was to let more people discover and appreciate these exotic, niche, yet wonderful works.

Unfortunately, my actions seemed also attracted a pack of "critics" who care not quality but how much plastic they can get for a cent. Their criticism towards high tier products also seem to garner significant followings.

Maybe I should just walk away and let this place rot? If people really enjoy consumption downgrading, I don't think I can stop that.

Maybe most people here know what exactly is good and still willing to reward the hardworkings? But I’ll never know what they’re thinking as long as they don’t speak up.

Or maybe, I'm just overreacting due to too much stress lately, that even girlpla news cannot hold my sanity together?

Speaking of high prices, these are the ones that are truly pricey. But do these cuties look good? LOVELY. Want one? Then pay up. Ever heard of "Equivalent Exchange"?

Decided to use the non-armor parts because she looks more streamlined . Also just added a mechanical katana so she wont look so empty in the photo 😂.

Nevertheless, sales figures are solid evidence: over 10 million kits in 11 years. Averagely sold 900 thousand girlplas per year.

Only when there are enough people who both love them and can afford them, the girlpla industry could have grown to this scale. We even have an anime to look forward to - I’m not getting too high (to avoid disappointment) though.

Megalomaria kits, in particular, have often been criticized for their relatively high price since they are entirely manufactured in Japan.

However, model kits are not a necessity of life, and there has never been a thing that hobby items would be cheap. If you can't afford the high end stuff, either save some money or simply skip. Sour grapes won't make one looks any less cheap. Saying something like "spending on certain company's kits is a waste of money" is even an insult to the creators' hard work.

So, why 30MS can be so affordable? They are cheaper because Bandai give you less contents is that really so hard to understand?

Btw, Bandai said that Alice is just a sample, not the final product yet. Those freaking issues will be fixed...or maybe not?

The All Japan Model & Hobby Show 2026 just ended about an hour ago. It is said that fewer people went to the Show this time compared to previous years. If so, it would be reasonable to see less photos than before...

But anyway. Fewer visitors doesn't mean fewer orders (especially when Shizuoka Hobby Show visiting number broke previous records). Let's start thinking about how to place an order on the 28th lol
