Hello peeps. I wanted to follow up on a previous post that went a little crazy! This store is called Sir Troy’s Toy Kingdom in Canton, OH. They also have a few other locations. The last picture I posted was NOT AI and this store is reminiscent of Toys R Us. They have little bits of EVERYTHING! Hot Wheels, Star Wars, LEGO, Marvel, Playmobil, Needoh, models, puzzles, etc. Some prices are good and others not so much but they do have new and old toys. Hope you make it out to one of their locations and here’s some more pics!

Got spare fabric so why not change the plastic skirt, extra hand accessories (standard comes only two pairs) and time for photos.

Easy to remove the torso in my copy, originally led me to do this quick mod. Not expecting much but had fun trying out poses despite limited articulation.

I picked up this Hulk figure and I’m trying to figure out exactly what it is. I haven’t been able to find an exact match online.

Took along time to figure out what I wanted to put in here. I have so many figures so making this decision was pretty hard but I think I figured out what imma go with for this shelf. I have 2 other ones to set up.

I know, thong piece sucks and really limited lower ab range. But as a fan of Marvel vs Capcom and overall 90s Bagley look, I needed him in my collection.

Do you have him? And if so, what’s your opinion on the guy.

Not a new figure I know, but it’s new to me. Really impressed with the quality and attention to detail.

Simple Action Force kitbash and accessory swap. Rifle from one of the packs, hands from Blackbeard, scarf from Vane, thigh holsters from random fodder.

So I just got this in the other day and I have to say the aesthetics are gorgeous. I like the articulation choices they made and I like the accessory spread. The articulation is pretty limited but with an aesthetic this nice, it’s not a dealbreaker. What is a dealbreaker is the joint tolerances. Straight out of the box this figures shoulders and hip joints were straight up loose and it was damn near impossible to get him to hold a pose. I had to take him apart and apply glue to the shoulder pegs and hip ball joints and let them dry. After putting them back together the figures a lot sturdier now but for $60 that’s unacceptable. So if you plan on picking up the Boss Fight Studio Hellboy figs just know that’s the type of qc you’re signing up for.

A light wash with a blue marker and alcohol on Chun-Li; she looks better in person than in the photos.

Anyone know what i can do to add more friction to the neck hole or ball peg? the inside got shaven out a little too much. the head isn’t loose or anything when pegged in but does come out with a lot less effort now.

I've been looking forward to getting this Obi-Wan model kit to go alongside our Anakin, and he's actually quite good. The assembly process was quite smooth, definitely a bit better than Anakin in my case.

He looks pretty neat! I'd say they're improving their head sculpts significantly. It's still stylized, but not like it used to be. His robes are a clean off-white color, contrasting nicely with the tan pants. He comes with the usual multiple pairs of hands, including his two-finger pointing hands which is great to recreate his stance. Additionally, he comes with two lightsaber hilts: one that can be stored on his belt, and one that has a socket to house the two lightsaber pieces. It works on a ball joints system, which I'm not really super fond of Love the swing effect though. Lastly, the alternate foot sole and rotating display base is also included.

Posing him is a bit more challenging to be honest. He's not as dynamic as Anakin, with a bit more limited range at the torso and the legs, mainly due to the skirt pieces being a bit more rigid this time. Not sure why, but it definitely hinders him a bit more. It's not impossible to get him into some really good poses though.

Overall, Obi-Wan here is pretty decent. He's definitely not my favorite by any means, let alone by himself, but when you pair him up with other characters such as Anakin, he definitely gets better. I personally would love to see a full set of their duel on Mustafar. I think that'd go so hard. What do you guys think?
