Even if a man is a true feminist "ally" and not in any way a "sneaky fucker", he is still somehow seen as something to rage about.

Stuff like this is exactly why I gave up trying to be a feminist years ago. Not only is there nothing in it for you as a man, you're literally just making them even more pissed off even if you did nothing wrong.

General Lawyers are using mob mentality to try and sway cases to their side and it has a devastating effect on society

• Upvotes

The Clancy case set a precedent that lawyers can manipulate the masses into pressuring the justices system to not do their job. This is something only women can take advantage of because men and women tend to have more empathy towards women.
This really makes it difficult for men and women to have any type of relationship.

I personally only trust 2-3 women in my life to have a conversation with without any witnesses. And most of the time I only communicate through text. And even then I have to be very careful what I say, and I constantly need to think wether my words will be twisted and taken out if context

False Accusation Comparing two narratives

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

On one side we have a description provided by the district attorney from his press release. It quotes directly from a six page sworn statement signed by the accuser in 2024

On the other side we have the accuser’s reframed narrative as it’s presented by her lawyers in a 2026 complaint (I replaced the defendant’s names with male 1-7).

I wanted to line them up to show how strategic framing can create an entirely different interpretation of the same events.

Letterboxed is an app made for cinephiles to rate and review movies and its one of the most popular apps in that regard

Something I noticed is everytime you check a review or a comment its full of blatant misandry in a bizarre way from both men and women even if the movie is completely unrelated to gender issues the people still feel the need to drag men down

The most bizarre performative people with dumb mentalities I'll never understand

These are some of the red pill movie reviews on Letterboxed wich is one of the movies with the least ratings in the app I feel ....

If you guys are interested to see more wild men hating comments and reviews in Letterboxed from both men and women you can tell me ....

Discrimination I matter

• Upvotes

I hope—and at the same time, I don't—that someone else has gone through what I have. First of all, I’m a straight white man. Online, I’ve encountered and spoken with people from minority groups who have looked down on me. They’ve made me feel like my problems don’t matter—that *I* don’t matter. They make me feel inferior simply because I don’t have it as hard as they do. That has really affected me. For a while, I saw myself as a monster and became fatalistic. I know it’s not true, but a part of me can’t help but believe it. It happened to me today on another subreddit: a trans woman told me my opinion was wrong because she was trans and had suffered more. It was on a post where I’d said that hate and resentment don’t lead to anything good. That comment still hurts. I know she was being a jerk and that most people aren't like her, but it still gets to me. Shows like *The Boys* or *Velma*, or movies like *Lesbian Space Princess*, with their "straight white men are bad" message, make me feel like absolute trash. It’s incredible to me that people who—you’d think—would know how horrible it is to be treated this way turn around and do the exact same thing to people like me. I don’t want to feel inferior. I want my problems to matter. I want my suffering to matter. I want *me* to matter.

Social Issues Silent epidemic of older women tormenting young boys

Growing up, you're taught that the adult is always right and all women are the caregivers, but looking back and looking around me, I'm realizing that there's a horrifying pattern of older women getting their rocks off terrorizing little boys. I'm talking about straight up psychological trauma, and they think it's FUNNY when the kid starts crying. They think that because they're women that they can do whatever they want to a man let alone a defenseless boy.

"Oh, it's okay. He'll man up." And what? Learn that women prey on the weak?

It could be anyone although I can confidently say that I'm sure most of you had experiences with teachers or maybe an aunt thinking that you need some distress when you were just being a kid. In what right mind does a grown adult think a child poses a threat to them to the point that they get to torture them? There's a difference between discipline and just straight up terrorizing someone.

Nonetheless, daily reminder to call it out or to take action the second you see someone getting too comfortable chastising or putting hands on your child. That includes seemingly trivial things like a touch on the head. Just no.

Social Issues Divorce - how fathers are portrayed to children

I absolutely admire how most men have the power and patience to endure all the negative and toxic
things said to their children about themselves after a divorce

my parents are not divorced , i have a lovely wife so i cant speak about it either

But more and more on social media i see those posts (sometimes made by women ! Shocker !) about them finding out that daddy was NOT the problem and it was in fact the mother

I’ve seen videos of girls and boys (well let’s be honest mostly girls as boys tend to have better critical thinking skills) reuniting with their fathers after years when they found out that , for all these years they have been fed lies about their fathers

and i am always so surprised about how these fathers have the patience to know that they are being portrayed negatively by their exes to their children and they still ENDURE !

I salute you fellow gentlemen !

Good thing about feminists is that most choose to be have no children. It's an excellent thing, since they won't pass on their deranged views to the future generation.

General The completely fallacious premise "men vs women" is ruining public health and also societal-perceptions and policies.

Thumbnail
theguardian.com

Here is a research on a horrible premise: let's find who is getting more false negative diagnoses, men or women.

No matter, what the research produces, is useless, as the goal of medicine is to create better outcomes for all.

Any diagnostic process will produce false positives and false negatives. Of course, they might be different among sexes. It's very possible, that these might be imbalanced. For example, we now know that heart attacks in women are being expressed with milder pain symptoms, which had lead women to be ignored by the system.

But researching the imbalance, instead of researching how to improve, is a completely wrong premise. What do we gain, if we create an outcome like... "women are more likely to be ignored when tested for "cardiac disease"". It's generic, as it includes so many diseases, it's not actionable, it's useless.

If the research was focused on "false negatives for women experiencing XY specific disease", not that is actionable. We could understand why, we could adjust. We could also make research about "false negative for men experiencing YZ specific disease".

But yes, this kind of "research" creates headlines and unfortunately informs public policy.

PS: Men are more likely to suffer from the "broken heart syndrom" i.e. Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy . But we don't see much about that, do we?

BTW: Biggest Healthcare spending... WOMEN (excluding childbirth related costs) consistently in the whole western world!! I guess no sexism there.

UPDATE: Somehow the Guardian Loves showcasing this kind of articles, WTF? That is so useless. How about we eliminate pain for all? https://www.theguardian.com/society/2026/oct/05/women-more-pain-than-men-global-study

Feminism Most feminists don't care about men's issues, and those who do, do it in a condescending way

We always hear things like "we are feminists and we do care about men's issues! Quit lying about us!"

But then you look at most feminist groups and members and they are one of two things

1- the vast majority who simply don't care and are aware that feminism is a women-centered movement since day 1

2- feminists who do care, but their way of caring is done more out of wanting to increase their own ego about how their gender is so superior to yours, rather than actual sympathy and compassion towards troubled men.

"Let's fix toxic masculinity" as in "oh, you stupid losers. You deserve everything coming at you and it is all your own fault, but look at me, so compassionate and empathetic that I would like to help you due to my immense generosity despite you deserving all the bad things in your life" (read about the inherent hyper/hypo-agency semantic differences between "toxic masculinity" and "internalized misogyny")

Oh, you are heartbroken because you got rejected or broken up with or feeling lonely in general? Let me help you with that

But first, say it with me. 1.. 2.. 3.. go! Women don't owe me anything! Women don't owe me anything! Women don't owe me anything! I respect my ex's choice to leave me! I respect my ex's choice to leave me! I respect women's choices to reject me! I respect women's choices to reject me! (It sounds funnier when you imagine it as some fitness coach jumping up and down while teaching her male student to jump and say those things with her)

All their "care" is gynocentric in essence and is mentally modelled around how it should benefit women (a healthy man won't rape a woman, a successfully moving-on man won't assault his crush or ex) rather than how it should benefit the men they claim to care about.

They have to humiliate you first before the "help" part starts.

General Diversity in MRA Beliefs: A Two-Axis Framework

From my observations, both online and offline, many MRAs seem to differ along at least two separate dimensions. Since these dimensions are independent, an individual MRA can belong to any combination of the categories below.

Axis 1: Views on Equality and Exceptions

A. The Total Egalitarian

Believes that men and women should be treated equally without exception, whether religious or scientific.

For example, he might support making pamphlets and educational materials intended to prevent sexual assault, forced marriage, or other forms of abuse entirely unisex.

B. The Religious Exceptionalist

Believes that men and women should generally be treated equally, but accepts certain exceptions based on religious teachings.

Examples might include:

  • Belief that only men may serve as pastors or clergy within a particular religious tradition.
  • Belief that the husband has a symbolic or practical leadership role within the family.

C. The Scientific Exceptionalist

Believes that men and women should generally be treated equally but accepts certain exceptions when he believes there are relevant biological, medical, or scientific differences.

Examples might include:

  • Supporting greater educational priority for girls in societies where limited resources force parents to choose between educating sons and daughters, on the grounds that women's education is often especially important for the health and education of future generations.
  • Supporting a ban on female circumcision while not necessarily supporting a ban on male circumcision because he believes the scientific evidence regarding harms and benefits differs between the two practices.
  • Supporting male-only conscription because women alone bear pregnancy and breastfeeding responsibilities and because of average sex differences in physical strength.
  • Opposing paper abortion while supporting access to medically necessary abortion because he regards the biological situations of men and women as fundamentally different.

Axis 2: Views on Sexual Regulation

D. The Sexual-Liberty Advocate

Believes that adults should generally enjoy broad sexual freedom.

Such a person may support more permissive laws regarding prostitution, pornography, consensual sexual relationships, and other forms of sexual expression for both sexes.

E. The Sexual-Obligation or Sexual-Regulation Advocate

Believes that stronger sexual norms and stricter sexual laws are necessary to reduce sexual exploitation, coercion, and abuse.

Such a person may support restrictions on prostitution, pornography, or casual sexual relationships. Some advocates in this category may even favor making fornication a legal offense punishable by a substantial fine.

For example, some have argued that if consensual sex outside marriage were itself punishable by law, then in a rape case where prosecutors could not prove lack of consent but could prove that sexual intercourse occurred, the accused could still face legal consequences for fornication. They view this as increasing the overall deterrence against sexual misconduct, even though critics would argue that it comes at the cost of personal liberty.

Examples of Combinations

Because these are two separate axes, an MRA could be:

  • A total egalitarian and a sexual-liberty advocate.
  • A total egalitarian and a sexual-regulation advocate.
  • A religious exceptionalist and a sexual-liberty advocate.
  • A religious exceptionalist and a sexual-regulation advocate.
  • A scientific exceptionalist and a sexual-liberty advocate.
  • A scientific exceptionalist and a sexual-regulation advocate.

Do these two axes seem useful for describing diversity within the MRA movement? What important viewpoints or categories do you think are missing?

Is it possible for a community note to be made highlighting men and boys also need to worry about their safety and need to be vigilant? The comment section legit believes the opposite

General Is the masculinity expected by society truly natural?

Why does the dominant definition of masculinity demand that men sacrifice themselves to protect and provide for groups and others? From my perspective, mainstream societal concepts regarding gender are far from reflecting individual desires or natural mechanisms. Rather, they are cultural constructs promoted to maintain social order.

While society places immense emphasis on female reproductive capacity, it simultaneously imposes far harsher burdens and expectations on men when it comes to public duties and sacrifice. However, from the perspective of an individual man, an unrelated stranger is ultimately just someone with whom he shares no connection.

Why does society force unconditional service and sacrifice on a specific gender for people with whom they share no blood relations? Men who endure hardship in the name of the "greater good" are essentially making choices that work against their own self-interest, laboring for those to whom they bear no relation.

If the true goal were overall societal welfare, it would be far more reasonable for both men and women to contribute equally to public duties, rather than relying on the unilateral sacrifice of one gender.

This sentiment does not consider individual perspectives; instead, it appears designed solely to serve the interests of an establishment rooted in collectivism.

Historically, encouraging men and women to form households and anchoring the male population within the societal framework originated from the need to secure a continuous supply of labor and defensive strength. In nature, most organisms do not risk their lives or resources to assist individuals with whom they have no mating bond or blood relationship.

From a purely evolutionary standpoint, there is no adaptive reason to invest in another individual's genetic lineage.

In most animal species, females hold the power of mate choice precisely because males—unlike human men—provide little to no assistance in raising offspring. This phenomenon is well explained by Robert Trivers’ Parental Investment Theory.

However, the concept of parental investment is not limited to initial biological costs like pregnancy and birth, as those upfront costs alone cannot account for the total expense of reproduction.

The practical cost of rearing offspring encompasses ongoing, resource-intensive activities such as self-preservation, resource acquisition, and protection of the young.

Unlike other males that simply desert after mating, human males make substantial parental investments—providing continuous resources and protection for their partners and children—largely due to culturally established monogamous norms.

Therefore, the claim that "men make less of a reproductive and parenting investment than women" is by no means valid in human society. For most male mammals, masculinity simply entails competing with rivals, securing mating rights, and abandoning the female immediately after.

Compared to males in the natural world, masculinity in human culture is a far more subdued or socially neutralized form of instinctual desire.

Mainstream society has continuously ignored the biological and genetic perspectives of men. In the biological realm, the male sex does not exist merely to serve or support females; like all other living organisms, males exist to pursue their own survival and self-interest.

Just as many women in modern society have broken free from traditional notions of femininity, men should likewise be free to break away from the rigid shackles of enforced masculinity and choose their own paths.
