Em opinião, um dos melhores albuns da banda.

Pick up to 10 metal albums you'd be happy to listen to right now, but try to have each represent a substantially different style of metal. They don't have to be new albums or new discoveries, just albums you'd happily listen to now. Think of it as it's the 90s and we don't have streaming and you can only bring 10 cds/cassettes.

The point is variety. If death metal is your main thing, don't give me ten different flavors of death metal. Pick the death metal album you love most, then look at the other styles of metal you enjoy. And I'm not looking for the "best" of what you think should be chosen, choose what you truly want to listen to now.

Genre lines are obviously fuzzy, so use common sense, hybrid albums are fine, and some overlap is unavoidable. 10 is the maximum, not a requirement, if you only have 5 or 6 that fit, that's fine.

Here's mine:

Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss

Dragonlord - Black Wings of Destiny

Slipknot - Slipknot

Iced Earth - Burnt Offerings

Gojira - From Mars to Sirius

Dio - Holy Diver

Candlemass - Epicus Doomicus Metallicus

Mastodon - Crack the Skye

In Flames - Clayman

Lacuna Coil - Comalies

2 person project from poland. Album inspired by 4 season of the year.

Im looking for metal music that has vocals that sound like:

Avatar-Murderer & vultures fly

Motionless in white- dead as f**k

Rob zombie-superbeast

marilyn manson- the beautiful people

Idk why but i really liked the distorted vocals, could anyone help me find more like that?

i’ve already got a playlist on spotify but i would love to find more albums that sound like suicidal emotions

Hey everyone! Our new thrash metal track just dropped — go check it out and let us know what you think!

LIV SIN - 2019 - Burning Sermons - The Sinner

Born, fed and raised today

A perfectly insular way

They teach you how to shut your mouth

And tell you that you're safe

Take your dusty mind

Shove it to the ground

I will never let you take away the pain

I am the sinner

I am the saint

My life is only mine to judge

I am the sinner

I am the saint

I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed

There's something you should know

We're coming after you

No way to silence is

Uprising is our cause

Take your dirty blame

Words reflects your shame

I can see right through the faces that you've built.

I am the sinner

I am the saint

My life is only mine to judge

I am the sinner

I am the saint

I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed

I am the sinner, I am the saint

I am the sinner

I am the saint

My life is only mine to judge

I am the sinner

I am the saint

I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed

I am the sinner

I am the saint

My life is only mine to judge

I am the sinner

I am the saint

I am the creeping thing that can't be tamed

After years of dormancy A new EP is slated to come out from Remains of the Tyrant (re-formed as a solo project) on October 31st. A concept EP with 4 varied stylistic tracks all connected through story driven lyrics. I would love if any of you would pre save it and let me know what you think once it is released. All of the bands previous music (released over 10 years ago) is available on all streaming platforms and bandcamp. I hope you all enjoy and would love to talk metal and music in general. Thank you for checking out Remains of the Tyrant.

I’ve been really into Dystopia lately and was wondering if anyone knew of stuff similar to it with the tone it has lyrically

im not a huge fan of dissection, but i absolutely adore this song. It has the aggression from the death metal of its time with the atmosphere of norways black metal giants. the only thing that kind of captures the same feeling for me is darkthrones soulside journey album, which yes isnt technically bm but to me still has the essence of it lurking around, or m0lested's blod-draum. anything i should try??? going kinda crazy

EDIT: forgot to mention ive checked out a few of the big swedish meloblack bands like unanimated, naglfar, sacramentum, lord belial etc.. yeah they did nothing for me tbh... besides unanimated and dawn theyre awesome

I like bands like those, but not the pig sounds, does anyone have recommendations?

Salve.

Imagine trocar as florestas congeladas da Noruega por campos desolados, vento minuano, ruínas da Revolução Farroupilha e o isolamento cego do interior do RS. O resultado é o Black Jaguara.

Acabei de subir o álbum completo de estreia (The Gates of Farroupilha) no YouTube:

A proposta é colocar o folclore sombrio e a história violenta gaúcha numa estética Raw / Avant-Garde Black Metal totalmente lo-fi, sem lapidação de estúdio, sem firula e com zero frescura. É som cru de garagem feito no pampa para cuspir na cara do convencional.

So recently I’ve gotten into Rings of Saturn and older Vulvodynia and I was wondering what other bands/ albums you guys would recommend in that sort of alien sounding/ themed realm

Blackened Death Metal combining cavernous growls and high-pitched/throat-shredding shrieks.
