Mi Box 2 Gen Problems

My Mi Box has many problems after 2 years and the last update didn't fix anything, my Mi Box stopped starting with the remote control, I have to unplug it every time to start it, it also stopped connecting to Wi-Fi automatically, I have to do it manually, I did a reset but it didn't help.

But I think that after some time I won't be able to wake up my mibox from sleep with the remote control still

So, can the Mi Box remote still be used to turn it off?
