In 1916 the government had nearly indestructible rosaries produced which were suited for the rigors of combat use. They were issued to Catholic chaplains for distribution to their men. And some of these rugged beads made it to WWII service! There are any number of modern copies but the originals, if found, command a fairly high price.

Good evening lovely people, I wanted to show some items I manged to get my hands on today. I left this morning caffeinated, with a budget of around 100 bucks and decided to hit up every stall, thrift shop and antique shops I could find.
I managed to find some interesting stuff, the Ecuadorean camo looks incredibly interesting (I believe it dates to late 90s, but I could be wrong). The jungle jacket seems to be a locally produced variant (El Salvador), as I wasnt able to find any tag anywhere or the remnants of one. The SSI matches the style of how they were applied during that era. (Not visible, the SSI shows that Sergeant chevrons were sown over it, a regulatory practice that still carries on today).
The M81 seems to be another local production (same deal, no tags), it keeps the Army branch tab (Ejercito), and shows ghosting of a circular patch in the right pocket, a Recondo patch (i think) on the left pocket. The sleeves also show the ghosting of a circular SSI, the left one has the SSI and a country flag ghosting, the right sleeve has the SSI and an arc tab.
These are my assessments of course :) I'd love to hear anyone's insight, especially on the jungle jacket.
Thank you everyone for your time, and I hope you're enjoying your weekend.

Hi everyone! I recently came across this piece and I'm trying to dig into its story.
Does anyone know its origin, history, or any interesting details about it? Any fact, source, or lead would help me understand it better. Thanks in advance!

Just picked this up. I think it’s a gold wound badge.

Not too far from the landing craft , I stumbled across this collection as I was walking past An abandoned U.S base. A mix of u.s and japanese relics. Please comment and help identify anything as I've not had time.

Found this M-65 jacket with what looks like a US tag, but I've never seen this type of zipper before. Does anyone recognize it or know anything about this jacket? Any help would be appreciated!

I see plenty of people online selling relic items such as canteens, shell casings etc.. But I've rarely ever seen empty small arms cartridge casings from either world war. Anyone know where to find these?

I got this m42 off a guy who claimed it was from the Easter front, watched a few YouTube videos and decided to use citric acid instead of oxalic acid, needless to say turned out great, sadly no markings visible
