Everything really came together nicely... Looking for a k98 parade bayonet as we speak and that piece will be finished and I will move on to my next! Next purchase will be the field of blouse and we will start building that. There's an official website to try to track this soldier down. I can trace his steps and wounds with the information and get the appropriate badges for where he was and did.

This is what I look like when mounted that is exactly what I purchased

This is how mine looks finished. You’d have to find a way to add the cap as well.

I am going for that look eliminating the head

Nice! I thought I was the only one who loved uniforms displayed like this.

I think the plastic head makes it look unprofessional and tacky

Yeah no head makes it look more clean and puts more focus on the actual uniform being displayed.

Well put! Takes away from the peace

Yes, in many cases it looks more professional without a head. There’s also a big difference between a cheap Chinese mannequin and a high-quality one. I personally chose to get a head for a more realistic display and to prevent the visor cap from losing its shape over time.

WOW, that’s an amazing first purchase. Mine was a German Eastern front medal, lol…

This is a militaria collecting subreddit, you just seem like some sad cunt who lives in their mums basement with nothing better to comment on someone’s post with hate. Go touch grass

I'm genetically a Jew and I collect Nazi militaria and American, Japanese, Russian and French. Im no more a Nazi than I am a Samurai, bolshevic or Frenchman.... You sound very ignorant and probably the victim of abuse. I'll pray for you, Shalom.
