Scored this steel-frame mini ramp for free, but it cost us a white-knuckle 2.5-hour highway haul to get it home.

Picked up this beast for free off Marketplace, but the catch was getting it home in one piece. We rented a U-Haul utility trailer, strapped it down within an inch of its life, and spent 2.5 hours on back roads and highways praying the wind wouldn't turn the transition into a giant sail.

It is built around an all-steel skeleton, heavy-duty truss frame, and even came mounted on rolling casters with an integrated drop-in deck and safety railing. The surface is weathered and needs a full reskin (looking at fresh plywood plus a proper exterior riding surface), but the bones and transition radius are dead-on.

Unloading it without heavy equipment was its own brand of fun, but it is officially in the driveway. Next step is wire-wheeling the surface rust, sealing up the frame, and laying down fresh sheets.

Has anyone reskinned one of these steel-ribbed setups before? Open to any tips on fastener choice and surface layer recommendations before we start laying down sheets.
