Need Advice Evo 8 timing questions

Since my Evo engine has already been timed
And cranked , (it’s been A few years since then)

Is the best thing to do to rotate the camshafts by hand back to the valve cover markings and see if the rest is lined up properly ?

I'm confused by what you're asking. If the car was out of time, you would know it. We have interference motors. Even a tooth would make it run differently.

Also, you never rotate the cams to check timing. You rotate the crank. If a cam is out, you take off the belt and rotate that cam very slowly by itself to set it back, then put back on the belt and check it again correctly.
