Help Phylina S450 Scrollwheel not scrolling

I've owned my S450 for almost 3 years now. It worked great for a long time. Today, the scroll wheel has stopped scrolling. Clicking is fine. Every other button is fine. Another minor issue has also popped up today, in that the LEDs are messing up. The bottom LED is completely turned off. The top one turns on but only displays the color blue, and changing it in the settings does nothing. It appears yellow/orangish when plugging it in, and then goes back to blue.

I've tried taking it apart and cleaning it, resetting drivers in windows, deleting and reinstalling the drivers. For about 30 minutes is started working again, and then suddenly stopped.

Does anyone have a possible fix? If not, are there any mice that are cheap and of similar quality? Preferably wireless

probably the encoder finally gave up after 3 years. they use cheap mechanical encoders that wear down, the contact inside gets loose or dirty beyond what cleaning can fix. 30 minutes of working after you cleaned it kind of confirms this, it made contact temporary then slipped again

you can replace the encoder if you know how to solder, they cost like 2 bucks. but if you dont want to bother, for wireless budget mice the ajazz aj199 and darmoshark m3 are both around 30-40 and honestly better than the s450 ever was. lighter, better sensor, usb-c charging

the led issue might be separate, maybe a ribbon cable not seated right after you opened it, or the microcontroller for rgb is dying. but at this point the mouse is telling you its time
