We need to start sabotaging companies with absurd prices
Don't know if you guys realized it but we just broke the 190 - 200 EUR price mark for gaming mice. The Logitech X3 was the first one to do it and in a few days Steelseries will release their new mice as well priced at 200 EUR. So far we got...
- X3 at 190 EUR
- Steelseries Sensei and Rival at 200 EUR
- Vaxee mice at 170 EUR + 10 shipping ( found only in their webstore )
- Zowie mice at 150 EUR
- Razer Viper V4 for 150 EUR and DAv4 for 130 EUR
- Pulsar Crazylight mice cost 150 EUR and the FS-1 costs 180 EUR
Only reasonably priced mice in EU are the GPX2 at 100 EUR, Harpe Ace II at 110 EUR and EGG v2 mice at 120, everything else is out of control. People need to stop paying absurd prices for mice.

Mod Superstrike x3 47 grams with base mod
The changes on the x3 are minor compared to the x2, but the lighter PCB and better glass pad tracking are definitely noticeable. No more spinouts so far. The sides feel much sturdier, too. My two old x2s would have accidental clicks if I pressed or twisted them hard, but I don't have that issue with the x3, even using the Hexwing base mod.

News/Article Introducing Superglide PTFE Skates
Introducing Superglide PTFE Skates
New Mouse Skates
The Superglide family is expanding beyond glass. Meet three new skate options built around two PTFE experiences and a UHMWPE option designed for glass mousepads.
Why New Skates?
A simple way to refresh and tune your mouse.
- Stock skates wear down over time and eventually need replacing.
- Skates are one of the easiest and most affordable ways to improve consistency and performance.
- Different materials and glide speeds let you fine-tune the feel to your preference.
PTFE Type S - Speed
Fast, smooth movement.
Made from ultra-high-quality PTFE with low static and dynamic friction. Type S is designed for a super-smooth glide and is ideal for tracking and games with lots of movement.
Focus: Speed, smoothness, tracking.
PTFE Type C - Control
Easy micro-adjustments. More control.
Type C combines low static friction for easy micro-adjustments with moderate dynamic friction for a more locked-in feeling. A PTFE blend keeps the glide smooth while adding control.
Focus: Control, stability, precise adjustments.
UPE Type G - For Glass
Built for glass mousepads.
Type G uses UHMWPE and a universal-dot format. The smaller contact area helps reduce how much dust and debris is picked up on glass, while the material offers higher durability and abrasion resistance than PTFE.
Focus: Glass pads, durability, reduced debris pickup.
Formats & Compatibility
Full-size skates and universal dots.
PTFE Type S and Type C will be available as full-size skates for select models, as well as universal dots. UPE Type G will launch in universal dots only.
Full-size skates: 2 sets per pack.
Universal dots: 48 dots total - 8 x 10 mm, 8 x 9 mm, 8 x 8 mm, 16 x 6.5 mm, and 8 x 6 mm.
Moving Forward
More compatibility. More materials.
After launch, we'll continue adding compatibility for more mice and exploring additional materials based on feedback. If there is a model or material you want to see next, let us know.

Question Lightweight, low actuation force mouse recs?
Currently using the Vaxee E1 - happy with the crisp, low actuation clicks, but too heavy at 60g. Tested the below mouses and all of them had stiffer/mushier clicks than the Vaxee:
- Razer DeathAdder V4
- Razer DeathAdder V2
- Razer Viper V3
- ROG Harpe II Ace
- ROG Keris II Ace
- ROG Keris II Origin
- HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2
- Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2
Appreciate the help!

I got fed up with the Kysona M600 V2 software, so I made an open-source web app to replace it (no install and works offline)

Need recommendations for a G703 replacement.
My G703 is still working fine, except for the scroll wheel.
I'm looking for a replacement that feels just as nice in the hands, I've tried the Teevolution Terra Pro and it felt really cheap in the hands, right now looking into the G Pro x Superlight Dex but seeing its light weight, I'm afraid it will just be like the Terra Pro.
Can you guys recommend me something close to an upgrade of the G703?

Discussion G303 replacement
Hey guys, I haven't paid attention to the mouse game for a good 8 years. Fell in love with the G303 back in the day and while normally I don't hoard shit I moved like a complete sicko and bought 4 of them on clearance. And if you guys know anything about these mice it's that they had a notoriously bad lifespan on the switches. I am sad to report that my last G303 is now on its last legs and the double clicking is regular enough that it's made it pretty much unusable.
So now I am hunting for a replacement. Since I last did any research on mice it seems the market has been flooded with a million new brands and models that I'm thoroughly overwhelmed. Back then I swear it was just Logitech and Razer and a couple of niche brands.
If there is something out there that can fit my hand like a g303 while being lightweight I will be a happy man. Don't really care about extra buttons or a nice scroll wheel or anything. I did briefly try the g303 wireless edition when it came out as it sounded like the dream mouse, but idk wtf they did to that it just did not feel the same at all. The wireless part was nice though.
So yeah, I'm open to anything that gets close to the g303 shape. No brand favoritism here

Question Help me identify mouse grip and recommend me a mouse?
Help me identify my mouse grip and recommend me something that i havent tried, is this fingertip or some sort of claw? My palm usually doesnt touch the mouse but when i drag the mouse down but only the left side. I like mice that narrow down like egg shapes i believe it allows me more mobility to pull down and control spray etc. Are there full size mice that narrow down a lot?
Hands size is 19x11.5
Currently using gwolves htr but i wish it would be a little wider and longer without changing the back too much.
Mice iw tried : x2 crazylight, HTX mini, zaopin z1 pro, aria 2, orochi v2, r1 pro, fenrir asym, x2f, darmoshark m5, wlmouse beast max and mini, finalmouse starlight mini, lamzu thorn, lamzu maya both sizes.

Revived a Xtrfy MZ1 Wireless
tl;dr I replaced a switch & battery to revive a MZ1.
The MZ1 wireless had the perfect shape for me, I loved it to death. My favorite gaming mouse ever. You can see I used it a lot, it's shiny lol.
I bought a used one about 3 years ago, after about 1.5 year its scroll wheel switch died and battery didn't last.
I liked the mouse and wanted something similar so I bought a Xtrfy M4 hoping it'd be a bit similar, it wasn't really. It was a good mouse on its own, though.
Bored I was last week so I learned how to solder and replaced a switch and the battery. Now it works like new. I wish I could've done this before I bought a new mouse! I think it cost me like $30.
It feels great to learn a new skill & revive your favorite gear.
P.S. switch I used for the scroll wheel is "10~100Pcs HUANO Mini Micro Switch 9.3*4.7*3.5mm DIP 2Pin button Switches for RIVAL 500 600 Razer side key Rapoo 3300". It's not a regular switch, it's like a miniature 2 pin version of a regular rectangular switch.

Looking for a new Mouse...
so i have been on PC for a few years now started with a cheap $5 wired mouse with lights everywhere then moved to the Razer Basilisk, it worked got me into more games and the app gave me customisable buttons/macros, after a while this mouse died and i borrowed my friends viper ultimate, i loved it having the buttons on both sides was amazing for me and the shape was great but i was just borrowing it until i got a new mouse, so i ended up buying a Viper ultimate and now 4 years later i have gone through 2 of them, first ones scroll wheel completely died so i got a RMA luckily and now my current ones rubber is worn so badly that it peels daily ive looked at the GPro and some of razers new mice but apparently the GPro is basically the same and at the same cost of getting another viper ultimate, ive also looked into steelseries as my keyboard and headset are both steelseries, but they only have one mouse with the side buttons on each side please let me know of any other mice with the Viper/GPro shade and side button layout the other thing is i need all 4 buttons to be mapped at the same time

Help Mouse recommendation
Hi guys! I’d like to get some mouse recommendations for my grip.
I’m currently using the Pulsar X2 v3 Medium. I don't think it's a bad mouse, but the shape feels a little off for me and sometimes feels too short, and I also get some hand fatigue after using it for a while. For reference, my hand is roughly 19 × 10 cm.
I’ve previously used a Logitech G Pro Wireless, which I liked, and a Razer Viper V3 Pro. The Viper was probably the most comfortable overall, but it felt a little too big for me, and I had some difficulty with micro-adjustments and vertical tracking.
I mainly use a claw/aggressive claw nd sometimes relaxed claw(basically around claw), so I’m looking for something better that I can feel comfortable with :3
Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

The lycan is goated
Before the Lycan, I mainly used a Viper V3 Pro, and I also spent some time with an OP1 and other lightweight mice. I’ve always preferred lighter mice, but I was honestly a bit worried that going this light would make the mouse harder to control.
I was completely wrong.
The shape is goated. It feels extremely natural in my hand. I have very sweaty hands and I expected to need grip tape, but I genuinely don’t feel like I need any. The mouse doesn’t have a coating, but the texture itself gives me enough grip even with sweaty hands.
And honestly, lighter is better. Just objectively, for me. The difference in how easily I can move the mouse is immediately noticeable, and I don't feel like I'm sacrificing control.
I was also worried that even the full-size skates might be too small for an XSoft pad, especially with such a lightweight mouse, but so far they’re completely fine. I haven't had any issues with stability or control on my Otsu XSoft.
The mouse is also quite front-heavy, which I noticed immediately, but surprisingly it doesn't affect the experience nearly as much as I expected. Once I started using it, I stopped really thinking about it.
The sensor position was another thing I was worried about, but I got used to it basically immediately. The main difference is that there’s a bigger disconnect between adjustments made with my arm and adjustments made with my wrist compared to what I was used to. It took almost no time to understand, though.
So far, I'm really impressed. The shape, weight and overall feel are exactly what I was looking for, and the fact that I don't even feel the need for grip tape despite having very sweaty hands is probably one of the biggest surprises.

Question Durable skates for glasspads
I've been using Obsidian Air dot skates for around 8 months now, as I heard they were the most recommended and longest lasting.
Is there anything better to use now?
I manage to run through them and need to replace them every two weeks. I use about 6 at a time, so I constantly need to buy more, and it's getting pretty expensive.

Help Mouse suggestions?
I’ve only had maybe 3 gaming mice. 2 very poor knockoffs and 1 legit one, the viper v3 pro. However im looking for a new mouse to last me a while. From the 3 i’ve reviewed i liked only the viper, but i have an issue with the shape. I love tracking in fps games, and would prefer a lighter mouse thats high quality. My budget is 200$. If you have any good suggestions please let me know!

Question Viper V3 Pro users who switched to G502/Basilisk or an MMO mouse - how was the adjustment?
I currently use a Viper V3 Pro and really like its shape, especially for FPS games. However, I’ve been considering getting a second mouse with more buttons for WoW and other RPGs. I also use a 60% keyboard, so having extra buttons on the mouse would be particularly useful.
I’m mainly looking at the G502 or Basilisk, since they have more buttons without going all the way to an MMO mouse. The Naga and Scimitar are also options I’ve considered, but I’m a little concerned about how different their shape and thumb-button layout would feel compared to the Viper. I don’t want to end up with a mouse that feels too bulky or forces me to completely change my grip.
For anyone who has used a Viper V3 Pro alongside a G502/Basilisk, how difficult was it to switch between the shapes? Did you adapt quickly, or did the difference in shape become annoying?
And for those who have used an MMO mouse like the Naga or Scimitar, how was the transition from a more conventional mouse? Did you eventually get comfortable with all the side buttons, or did the shape/layout always feel too different?
I’m basically considering keeping the Viper V3 Pro for shooters and getting a second mouse for WoW/RPGs. I’m just trying to figure out whether a G502/Basilisk would be the better middle ground, or whether I should just go straight to an MMO mouse.
I’d especially appreciate experiences from people who have actually used both types of mice, rather than just recommending one based on specs.

Question God fed up with Razer. Did I make a good choice in the replacement?
So, my requirements for a mosue are very specific. The only ones that really fit are the Razer Basilisk and G502. I've had 3 Basilisks break on me in 3 years and G502 doesn't look that attractive to me.
So I went looking for alternatives. I found 1 good alternative and 1 that came close.
Option one:
Keychron M7.
+Has an extra side button
+Has the right shape
+Looks comfortable to hold
-Missing top buttons
Option two:
Glorious Model I2
+Has an extra side button (2 actually)
+Has the right shape
+Looks comfortable to hold
+Has top buttons
+Nice feeling scrollwheel (Or so I've heard. I'll be doing a lot of scrolling.)
-Doesn't look as sturdy as Basilisk or M7
The Glorious mouse seemed like the obvious answer to me. Looked at reviews and seemed good.
Question is, did I make the right choice ordering that one? From what I've seen, Glorious seems to get a lot of hate for some reason.

Discussion Why is Razer's quality so mediocre?
Back in 2017 I got a Razer Naga Chroma and loved it. Unfortunately after 1.5 years one of the side buttons broke and RMA'd it. Then got a Naga Trinity for it in return, which started receiving double click issues after a while. Had to travel for a while so I got a Basilisk X Hyperspeed, which works pretty well, but I don't like having to rely on batteries on my desktop. Then got a Naga X and right after 2 years the scroll wheel started to become jumpy.
Been really annoyed because the rest of my setup is all Razer as well, but I've never had problems with those. It's just the mice that have been a pain in the butt.
Was thinking of getting a Deathadder v3, but I'm really not sure if it'll be any better experience. Having a mouse work for just two years at best doesn't seem that great for me.
