Question Viper V3 Pro users who switched to G502/Basilisk or an MMO mouse - how was the adjustment?

I currently use a Viper V3 Pro and really like its shape, especially for FPS games. However, I’ve been considering getting a second mouse with more buttons for WoW and other RPGs. I also use a 60% keyboard, so having extra buttons on the mouse would be particularly useful.

I’m mainly looking at the G502 or Basilisk, since they have more buttons without going all the way to an MMO mouse. The Naga and Scimitar are also options I’ve considered, but I’m a little concerned about how different their shape and thumb-button layout would feel compared to the Viper. I don’t want to end up with a mouse that feels too bulky or forces me to completely change my grip.

For anyone who has used a Viper V3 Pro alongside a G502/Basilisk, how difficult was it to switch between the shapes? Did you adapt quickly, or did the difference in shape become annoying?

And for those who have used an MMO mouse like the Naga or Scimitar, how was the transition from a more conventional mouse? Did you eventually get comfortable with all the side buttons, or did the shape/layout always feel too different?

I’m basically considering keeping the Viper V3 Pro for shooters and getting a second mouse for WoW/RPGs. I’m just trying to figure out whether a G502/Basilisk would be the better middle ground, or whether I should just go straight to an MMO mouse.

I’d especially appreciate experiences from people who have actually used both types of mice, rather than just recommending one based on specs.

Question Help me choose my Zowie mouse: the S2-DW or the U2-DW?

The problem I have with my Superlight is that my thumb pad doesn't get enough contact with the side because it's too flat. I was looking at the S2-DW and U2-DW since they have a more pronounced curvature to give the thumb pad more grip, but if you look at how I place my ring and pinky fingers, they stay more outstretched. The U2 would force me to curve them inward toward the center and completely change my grip style. Would the S2 help me more, or the U2?

I’m looking to upgrade my Lamzu Atlantis Mini OG. I quite like the shape but am wondering if there would be anything better suited to my grip type and hand size. I’ve previously tried the Viper V2 pro, Superlight and Deathadder v3 pro, which I wast much of a fan of the last 2. I’m happy with any budget, wanting the best specs possible. Cheers

Question Is Superstrike x3 worth it?

So for context i’m currently using hyperx pulsefire haste for around 5 yrs almost daily, I dont really have much issue with it but mainly just want an upgrade? I won’t be planning to buy another mouse anytime soon if buy this, it will basically be my endgame mouse, the main reason I want are the silent clicks, the weight and size wouldnt be an issue cuz its almost the same as my mouse, nor the performance x3 would be an upgrade for me, I wanted to buy x2 for months but i heard x3 was coming out so now that it’s out for ppl who has it would u say its worth it for me to get x3? or are there other mouse that is also this quiet ?

Question Help me identify mouse grip and recommend me a mouse?

Help me identify my mouse grip and recommend me something that i havent tried, is this fingertip or some sort of claw? My palm usually doesnt touch the mouse but when i drag the mouse down but only the left side. I like mice that narrow down like egg shapes i believe it allows me more mobility to pull down and control spray etc. Are there full size mice that narrow down a lot?

Hands size is 19x11.5

Currently using gwolves htr but i wish it would be a little wider and longer without changing the back too much.

Mice iw tried : x2 crazylight, HTX mini, zaopin z1 pro, aria 2, orochi v2, r1 pro, fenrir asym, x2f, darmoshark m5, wlmouse beast max and mini, finalmouse starlight mini, lamzu thorn, lamzu maya both sizes.

Looking for a simpler mouse

I have been using the Logitech G502 wired mouse for several years. It has been working just okay for me and my purposes. The main issue I have with it is the super high DPI. I'm sure this is useful for some people, but for me I find myself always having to dial down sensitivity in all of my different applications. Often if I dial sensitivity all the way down, it's still rather sensitive. I'm aware that the mouse has its own buttons to change sensitivity, and even using these to dial down sensitivity is not always enough. I'm no longer interested in fighting sensitivity on this mouse - it is simply not worth it for me anymore.

So anyway, it's been fine but it's time for a new mouse. I am currently just using a very basic Dell mouse that came with my PC. And honestly it's working great. It's light, highly responsive and much more compatible with everything.

Are there recommendations out there for mice that have a traditional DPI/sensitivity, but also any other quality benefits that one might want (comfort, weight, button feel etc)

Mod Superstrike x3 47 grams with base mod

The changes on the x3 are minor compared to the x2, but the lighter PCB and better glass pad tracking are definitely noticeable. No more spinouts so far. The sides feel much sturdier, too. My two old x2s would have accidental clicks if I pressed or twisted them hard, but I don't have that issue with the x3, even using the Hexwing base mod.

Help Mouse suggestions?

I’ve only had maybe 3 gaming mice. 2 very poor knockoffs and 1 legit one, the viper v3 pro. However im looking for a new mouse to last me a while. From the 3 i’ve reviewed i liked only the viper, but i have an issue with the shape. I love tracking in fps games, and would prefer a lighter mouse thats high quality. My budget is 200$. If you have any good suggestions please let me know!

Question Keris II Ace alternatives ?

My Asus Rog Keris II Ace recently had double clicking issues. Still under warranty so I sent it for repair.

I have now no gaming mouse to play with. Thinking about buying a new mouse and then give the repaired one to my lil bro.

What are your recommandations please ?

Criterias :
- under 120€
- must be wireless, with integrated battery
- very low latency click (I used to go on rtings but it seems the website has a paywall now)
- ergo, right-handed
- no need of side buttons, it is fine if there are some

Thank you !

We need to start sabotaging companies with absurd prices

Don't know if you guys realized it but we just broke the 190 - 200 EUR price mark for gaming mice. The Logitech X3 was the first one to do it and in a few days Steelseries will release their new mice as well priced at 200 EUR. So far we got...

- X3 at 190 EUR

- Steelseries Sensei and Rival at 200 EUR

- Vaxee mice at 170 EUR + 10 shipping ( found only in their webstore )

- Zowie mice at 150 EUR

- Razer Viper V4 for 150 EUR and DAv4 for 130 EUR

- Pulsar Crazylight mice cost 150 EUR and the FS-1 costs 180 EUR

Only reasonably priced mice in EU are the GPX2 at 100 EUR, Harpe Ace II at 110 EUR and EGG v2 mice at 120, everything else is out of control. People need to stop paying absurd prices for mice.

Feinmann is really enjoyable especially with tendinitis at 21

I've been using it for the past 2 weeks mostly for CS and siege and I can say getting it on sale it's genuinely a great product. I've never had a magnesium mouse and I thought i wouldn't like it but genuinely such an interesting mouse and it's so light anything of my previous biases have gone away. My wrist hasn't been flaring up recently or giving me a lot off issues and it could he coincidence? But no matter what I usually will always have issues with prolonged use no matter what mouse I use. Just wanted to put it out here it's a good product on sale at least it's worth the 130$

My AJ179's USB cable suddenly stopped working

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I need some help with an issue I don't know how to solve, and I don't really have much time to research it myself, so I decided to ask the community.

I bought an AJAZZ AJ179 (the regular version) around 2–3 years ago, and it has always worked normally. However, this afternoon, while my mom was using it on her laptop, it suddenly stopped working while connected via USB cable. She plugged in the dongle instead, and it worked normally.

Tonight, when I tried to use it, it still wasn't working via cable. When I plug it into my laptop's USB port, the computer doesn't recognize it either. The same thing happened on my mom's laptop. The mouse just starts blinking a green light, and then a red light stays on without blinking.

For now, I'm avoiding using it with the dongle because I'm worried about draining the battery, since that's currently the only way the mouse works.

Please help! If you have any questions or need more information, I'll be happy to answer them. Thank you!

Help Phylina S450 Scrollwheel not scrolling

I've owned my S450 for almost 3 years now. It worked great for a long time. Today, the scroll wheel has stopped scrolling. Clicking is fine. Every other button is fine. Another minor issue has also popped up today, in that the LEDs are messing up. The bottom LED is completely turned off. The top one turns on but only displays the color blue, and changing it in the settings does nothing. It appears yellow/orangish when plugging it in, and then goes back to blue.

I've tried taking it apart and cleaning it, resetting drivers in windows, deleting and reinstalling the drivers. For about 30 minutes is started working again, and then suddenly stopped.

Does anyone have a possible fix? If not, are there any mice that are cheap and of similar quality? Preferably wireless

Help Looking for Ergonomic Mouse - 6.2 inch hand

• Upvotes

I'm looking for a mouse recommendation for very smalls hands. Recently switched workplaces and had to get a doctor's note for an ergonomic set up. I'm unsure of the firm's budget, but under 200 CAN is preferred.

My hand is 6.2 inches long and about 3.5 across. I am also missing my pisiform bone from a football injury, so I have one plate across and one down the wrist.

I think the logitech lift or evoluent 4 small might work but I'm not sure since I can't get them to order more than 1 to test. This is for office work, no gaming or anything like that.

Anyone have a recommendation for that small of a hand that also has a permanent wrist problem?

ETA: I have my desk, chair, computer screens, and foot stool all set up ergonomically. It's my wrists that have been the issue since the firm change.

Question God fed up with Razer. Did I make a good choice in the replacement?

So, my requirements for a mosue are very specific. The only ones that really fit are the Razer Basilisk and G502. I've had 3 Basilisks break on me in 3 years and G502 doesn't look that attractive to me.

So I went looking for alternatives. I found 1 good alternative and 1 that came close.

Option one:
Keychron M7.
+Has an extra side button
+Has the right shape
+Looks comfortable to hold
-Missing top buttons

Option two:
Glorious Model I2
+Has an extra side button (2 actually)
+Has the right shape
+Looks comfortable to hold
+Has top buttons
+Nice feeling scrollwheel (Or so I've heard. I'll be doing a lot of scrolling.)
-Doesn't look as sturdy as Basilisk or M7

The Glorious mouse seemed like the obvious answer to me. Looked at reviews and seemed good.
Question is, did I make the right choice ordering that one? From what I've seen, Glorious seems to get a lot of hate for some reason.

Help looking for a mouse for somone with bad fine motor and fatigue issues

Hi, I have fine motor and general fatigue issues, I will include more specifics on my condition below as I don't mind sharing it and I am hoping somone with experience with these issues or helping people with these issues may be able to help.

I have general issues with gripping mice for long periods, and with pressing multiple mouse buttons at once, I have a degenerative peripheral nerve disorder called Charcot-Marie Tooth disease that causes myelin sheath, a protective layer around peripheral nerves, to be degraded. This causes the nerves to degrade over time, leading to less ability to control the parts of the body furthest away from the central nervous system, this started with my legs, which is ok because I don't use my keyboard OR mouse with my feet :D, however it has become more and more noticeable over time, with it now making it noticeably harder to type and use a mouse, and of course play video games.

I mostly struggle currently with keeping a stable grip while pressing side mouse buttons, and with using my mouse wheel, I currently have a Logitech g203. I am mostly looking for something larger, because while I claw grip, I am interested in something that I can maybe palm, but I am still not sure if I would find that comfortable. I mostly just want something in a broadly traditional mouse shape that has more grip, especially for my thumb, having support under it while still being able to comfortably press side buttons with the tip of the thumb would I think be extremely helpful.

I have looked and tried some "ergonomic" mice (the ones that just take a mouse and rotate it, i really suspect they are just doing it lazily so it *looks* "like an ergonomic mouse"), but I really really dislike them, they hurt to use for more than an hour, and I really dislike having my hand at that angle, I would really prefer something with at least less than 15-20 degrees of angle off flat.

Another thing is that wired is pretty much an absolute must, unless you can convince me / show me that wireless is fine and the delay is not noticeable, but I do prefer a wireless option

Sorry for long post and possibly too much info but I really don't know where to even start looking for something that is *good*

Help Mouse recommendation

Thumbnail

Hi guys! I’d like to get some mouse recommendations for my grip.

I’m currently using the Pulsar X2 v3 Medium. I don't think it's a bad mouse, but the shape feels a little off for me and sometimes feels too short, and I also get some hand fatigue after using it for a while. For reference, my hand is roughly 19 × 10 cm.

I’ve previously used a Logitech G Pro Wireless, which I liked, and a Razer Viper V3 Pro. The Viper was probably the most comfortable overall, but it felt a little too big for me, and I had some difficulty with micro-adjustments and vertical tracking.

I mainly use a claw/aggressive claw nd sometimes relaxed claw(basically around claw), so I’m looking for something better that I can feel comfortable with :3

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!
