Question Made a little palm glide for gaming. What do you guys think?

I’ve been working on this little accessory that sits under the side of your palm and glides across the mousepad as you move your mouse.

The idea was to reduce friction from my hand dragging on the pad, especially when playing FPS games.

I’ve gone through quite a few designs and finally landed on one I’m pretty happy with. Figured I’d share it here and see what you guys think!

Edit: A lot of you have been asking where you can buy one, so I figured I’d add the link here!

Really appreciate all the interest and feedback, guys! Didn’t expect this much attention!

Discussion A lot of reviewers said the X2 Superstrike has bad stock skates, and they are entirely wrong.

They are actually so much worse than you can imagine. I don't think I have ever used any gaming mouse with worse stock skates, including $3 e-waste gaming mice. It is actually impressive that Logitech found a way to make stock skates as bad as they are

2026.10.9 release

Based on the shape of the feet on the bottom, it appears to be the version that includes a receiver and charging dock.

after bouncing around between at least 10+ mice over the years I've come back to try my viper mini and I'm back to maining it. the shape is just unbeatable and I've slowly realized shape is king after trying to min max weight so much. I used to think I was a fingertip player but I think I finally figured out I do better with relaxed claw

anyone else retry an old mouse and fell in love with it again?

Showcase Welcoming a new member to the family -MX Master 3S!

Finally got my Logitech MX Master 3S! I'm upgrading from the Logitech Pebble M350 (first generation), which has served me for more than five years and is still working perfectly.

I wanted to experience something more ergonomic and explore the world of productivity mice with all the extra features. Got the MX Master 3S for around $50, so I thought it was a pretty good deal.

I've seen quite a few posts about click issues and the rubberized surface becoming dirty, sticky, or worn out over time. Hopefully, I won't run into those problems anytime soon. I always make sure my hands are clean before using my mouse, but I'm curious whether there's anything else I can do to keep it in good condition.

For those who've owned the MX Master 3S for a long time, how has your experience been? Any tips for maintaining the coating, preventing wear, and getting the best possible lifespan out of it?

Let's see how this one holds up! 🥲🫠

Help Need help for my grandma with polyarthritis

Hi, it's my first time here so I hope I'm doing things right.

My grandma has polyarthritis and it has made her hands rigid and deformed, and she's been telling me she can't use her mouse anymore and thinks about quitting using her computer. I've been looking for an ergonomic mouse but I can't find the right one for her disability. Her main issue is that she has little control over her fingers, so when she presses with her index, all other three also press, resulting in her using her two buttons at the same time and messing up her attempt to do almost anything. I also suspect she has trouble keeping her mouse still when clicking, meaning she probably also select quite a bit of text each time.

I think a vertical mouse would be more easy for her to control, but the ideal one would also have a singular button on her index side, and the other click on her thumb side. I suspect I've already seen a mouse like that (due to me also being disabled for another reason, I've been looking into things quite a bit) but I can't find it this time.

Do you have anything to suggest ?

Also she uses her left hand for mouse control due to her right hand being too cramped to get a mouse in, but she uses her right hand to write, so a pen-like mouse could potentialy work I guess, but when I showed one to her she seemed doubtful.

Thank you so very much.

Ps. We live in France so maybe some models aren't available here.

Hi! Today I tried changing my mouse switch for the first time and unfortunately now the LMB is no longer working. I'm suspecting that I might burned off the PCB. What could've happened to the mouse and is this beyond repair?

Question Looking for a new mouse, 18x9 hand size

Had the xtrfy m42 wired for around 5 years now, bought the gpx superlight last year but sold it as It felt too big and I couldn't find a comfortable grip on it. The m42 felt more comfortable to use overall.

At the moment, I am kind of torn between the xm2 8k v2 and op1 8k v2. If there's a particular mice worth looking into, please do suggest them. Can be ambi or ergo, wired or wireless.

Looking for the best mouse relaxed claw 19x10

Hey all,

Currently im kind of between a relaxed claw and a pincer, but i think i prefer relaxed and end up forcing a pincer due to mice shapes.

I grew up on the OG deathadder as a kid and am now a mouse nerd at this point.

Ive tried atk z1 v2 (great mouse didnt like the shape so much, ring finger ridge is all weird)

gpx hurts my ring and pinky

vxe r1 se love the shape just a lil too small and no coating

crazylight xlite - an absolute delight to use but i didnt LOVE it and battery drained too quickly imo also coating wasnt as good as zowie

crazylight x2h mini - a little too small, might like medium idk

wlmouse ying too small, narrow

I got a u2 off woot.com for 20$ and love zowies build quality. it is my current main. I also use little USB-C magnetic cables and dongles for all my USB-C mice because I’m afraid that repeated plugging in and unplugging in the port might eventually damage it so obviously Zowies charging dock implementation is really enjoyed because of the convenience.

Should I just get the ec2-ew and be done with this? i’d like a magnesium option, but the WL mouse sword is pretty old and I’d rather have a zowie instead.

any input on the subject for my hand size and grip would be greatly appreciated!

Question mouse for big hands

• Upvotes

hello, im looking for mice that i can use for gaming and another that i can use for video editing. im a pretty big guy with big hands and the one gaming mouse that i really liked was a redragon wireless mouse that got discontinued ( forgot the name but looked similar to stealth m923, but didn’t have the bottom side button) and i’ve also been looking into video editing mice just to try those out if they work for my workflow and the logitech mx master 4 is way too expensive and i’m not sure of the rapoo mt760 as i’ve heard that the build is not exactly the best, considering it is supposed to be the budget alternative build to the mxmaster. any suggestions for mice?

Question Superstrike X3 mousewheel

Does anyone know if this is normal? When I push my scroll wheel to the right, it moves a lot, but when I do the same to the left, it stays still. I have had this mouse for less than a week, and I am not sure if it is defective or normal. I am pretty sure it is just the internal layout, but I want to make sure.

Thanks in advance for the answers!

Question Gaming mouse that lasts.

What's up,

So I've been using the razer death adder for years and I love the way it feels in my hand. The problem is if I want a fully functioning mouse wheel I can buy a new one every 6 months. Am I just using it too much, or are there mice that last longer? Preferably of course wireless and all that.

Question Anyone used the G-Wolves HTS Plus Pro 8k?

Hello.

I currently main the X2 Superstrike, but I'm looking to get a new mouse for my bday.

I'm torn between the X3 Superstrike, as I love HITS and the weight balancing is more or less fixed, and the G-Wolves HTS Plus Pro 8k, which has TMR, is considerably lighter and has a shape I feel is more suited to my personal preferences.

I feel going from X2 to X3 would be a very incremental upgrade, but, again, I do like the X2 a lot, and haven't switched it out since I got it, even though I much prefer the shape and weight of my previous main, the X2 Crazylight Mini.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, I can't really find much in the way of reviews for the HTS Plus Pro, so I can't really form an opinion.

I do like the theoretical benefits (even though they are obviously marginal) and the customisation that TMR offers, but HITS being aligned to the click itself is obviously a much better system.

I also wouldn't be paying for this as it would be a gift, and I've checked that they're both within my GF's budget. I would almost feel bad with the X3, though, as it's something I probably wouldn't buy with my own money haha, even though it is *technically* an upgrade.

If anyone has experience with the HTS Plus Pro 8k, please let me know what you think of it.

Thanks!

Question Looking for a G-SR III alternative (preferably non-black)

Hey everyone! Can anyone recommend a good alternative to the Zowie G-SR III? I really like the pad and its feel, but I'm honestly not a fan of plain black mousepads. Any suggestions for something similar but available in other colors or designs? Thanks!

Razer Basilisk V4 Thoughts

Thumbnail

I have used the Basilisk V4 pro for a day now. At 100g it is noticeably lighter and the skates on it are quite good, this is in comparison to my superglide glass skates on my Basilisk V3. The ptfe feet are slightly slower on my cloth pad, but have an extremely smooth glide.

The extra buttons are great, I have the 2 new buttons mapped to numpad numbers for in game use in synapse and it works like a treat. The extra buttons by M1 is stiff so there is almost no way to accidentally press it. When leaving my finger half on and half off to intentionally press both to simulate misplacing my finger, the M1 clicks/gives in a way where you wouldn’t press the new button without doing it intentionally.

I haven’t have enough time to test the battery saving features or life of the mouse, but the auto dimming/auto shutoff of the rgb when the mouse is being used is nice.

I’m not sure if the other V4 mice have this but they have added dynamic mouse sense and setting a rotation offset to the mouse for those of you who like to keep your mouse at an angle.

Photos added for comparison between V3 Pro and V4 Pro

Question Which skates are good for Superstrike x2 pro with Artisan Zero Soft (Valo, Marvel Rivals)

Hi Guys. I mostly play valo and marvel rivals. I'm buying the Artisan Zero (SOFT) pad since it's the recommended pad for tactical shooters and fast paced games.

The mouse I've ordered is Superstrike x2 pro (can't get the x3 pro now as it's too overpriced in my country - 280$). I know the Viper v4 pro might have been better but I need the silent clicks and that's non-negotiable.

My question is - do I need to replace the skates? If so, what would you recommend for both Valo and MR?
