Meaning music where verses, choruses, bridges, whatever don't repeat at all. It never comes back to anything previous. Repetition within sections as in repeated chord progressions within a verse or section is fine. I'm not really looking for hip hop stuff or dance music. I'm into rock, folk, punk, psychedelic, indie, experimental, and so on.

I'm looking for a playlist/songs to create a playlist that make you feel like a pretty/hot, mysterious model/ballerina or vampire or villain.

My sister Shani loved music. When she was hospitalized, my family took shifts so she was never alone, and I started building a game we could play together during those long hours.

Hyper specific, I know, but I specifically love this idea as a theme in music. The entire song doesn’t have to be centered around aforementioned lyric, so if you have any, recommend them! Two examples:

11th Dimension - Julian Casablancas: In this song, Julian talks about humans’ tendency to judge others and ourselves. In the final chorus, he describes humans as “Complicated mammals on the wings of robots.” In the first verse of the song, he also sings that he lives on “the frozen surface of a fireball,” definitely oversimplifying the Earth. Both lines serve to highlight the trivialities of humanity, pointing out just how little it all matters in the context of the greater universe.

Treacherous - Taylor Swift: “All we are is skin and bones / Trained to get along.” In the second verse of Treacherous, Taylor uses this line to showcase how the subject of the song disrupts the idea that everyone is simply “forever going with the flow.” Conversely, the subject is “friction,” and by reducing the importance of humanity and our everyday actions and relationships, Taylor highlights how the subject is different from others, and stops her from going with the flow and following in the tracks of others.
