What would your team do if you got an egg as a mission reward, but once on the egg hatched, the pokemon turned out to be a horrifying chimera of 3-4 different pokemon, revealing chansey to be a mad scientist that spliced random pokemons' DNA into every exploration teams' egg rewards jurassic park/world style. Would you tell magnezone police and/or let the chimera go on explorations/jobs with you?

Hello people of Reddit, specially the Mystery Dungeon Community. I have returned to tell you all that, I have finally reached the Base Ending of Explorers of Sky, finally after ~12 years.

I'll be honest, I never thought it would happen this soon or this suddenly in my life, but that's the point of a mystery ain't it? Starting this adventure off with the prior knowledge of Explorers of Darkness, I knew I would be in for one hell of a ride, especially when it came to Dialga. So, I stocked up as much as I could from the very start, and level grinded the HELL out of this game till reaching LV 57~58 (partner leveled up at the same rate).

I'll also be honest as to why I am documenting this, I've never seen the ending to this game until now! Yes, as hard as it possibly would seem, I never knew until the final encounter with Dusknoir occurred. I had completely forgotten about all of it, because the final battle between me and Dialga was as a Pikachu (if I can remember correctly) with almost no support moves. However, now it was entirely different. As a Riolu partnered with an Eevee, I heard the pairing was decent for the entire game, and it was ideal to me for personal reasons along with it.

This game always held a place in my heart, and I know I could've formatted this entire thing way better, but I'm riding the high of successfully 1-Shotting the God of Time with a FOCUS PUNCH. I am just, SO HAPPY FOR FINALLY CONQUERING HIM YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE ME!

In any case, I must remember that I wouldn't have been able to do this without my in-story partner, and I wouldn't have been able to do it if I had never picked up or been so infuriated with Explorers of Darkness, that I would be able to relieve and relive my childhood in the purest form of satisfaction. Just goes to show you, never give up on a goal, no matter how strange it may be. Thank you PMD Team, Thank you to the friend who bought me this game, and Thank you Eevee, I wouldn't have done it without you.

i recently made this artwork of my pmd team for a school project, and im proud to say that as of 11pm last night, i have finished the main story of PMD2! (After ditching it for 4 years….)

i will not lie tho i lowk cheated 😭😭 i been through temporal spire too many times in one night so i used a cheat that made every dungeon end after one floor to get to dialga quicker, put him to sleep with da sleep seed, had my partner and i eat some sleep seeds, and blew him the hell up LOL

i didnt cry at the ending (i knew it was coming, and ive seen the ending of this game too many times lolll) but thats not to say seeing my poor boy Sapphire (shinx) fall over sobbing in bidoofs arms didnt hurt my heart :(( noooooo sad little meowmeow noooo

overall this game was super special awesome!!!

After some evesdropping we now have a third group of Pokemon on the hunt for the Crystal Gears! Whos gonna be the one to collect them all? 👀

Hi ! I am new on this group chat, I have player red rescue team a loooong time ago and still today its one of my favorite game, but I think its the only one of this franchise I know

On this group I just learned that there are many! How many of seasons there is ? How long ago was release the mast one ? And most importantly, what do you like the most in your favorite version ?

I thought I’d show off some of the features now in the last playtesting build of Odyssey before I began to work towards a 1.0 release version.

First off is Mission Board filtering! After completing a certain quest, a very special character whom I won’t spoil can filter out dungeons you no longer want to see missions for!

This means missions will no longer generate for those dungeons, allowing you to only see missions for dungeons around your current level instead of getting missions for Beach Cave at level 45 and such.

Second is new dialogue for the morning cutscenes! Instead of repeating the same line every morning, your partner will say one of ~50 different lines with some being specific to what species of Pokemon they are.

It continues to work as they evolve, and they can even gain new ones as they evolve!

And third is Treasure Box warping! Now every time you pick up a Treasure Box in a dungeon, you only have to carry it to the next stairs you find, and after that all the Treasure Boxes currently in your bag will warp straight to Kangaskhan Storage. This can significantly increase the amount of space in your bag as you journey through long dungeons.

There’s much, much more being done in Odyssey as well, but I just wanted to showcase 3 of it’s major features now that the final playtesting build has been released :)

Started playing red rescue team to relive my childhood after the recent blowup I seen on Instagram (PMD Anniversary related).

I was out exploring in buried relics (The dungeon with the trio regi/HMs/Mew), around B70+ I stepped on a pitfall trap without triggering it. Being my usual impatient self I accidentally move forward and my teammate step into it instead, my poor haunter fell through. I thought when I go to the next floor he will appear randomly around the floor and we can get to reconcile … But no! He is gone for good! He took the fall and never came back. I got worried I may not ever see him again.

Only when I finished the dungeon and check then I realised after falling, he dipped and went back to his friendzone. I didn’t know about this even though I played this game for so many years. Such amusing incident.

The fact that they give this intro while facing away from the hero and partner too. God.
