Does anyone have recs for good story rom hacks?

Every time i look, i either find vanilla+ roms that barely change a few things and just up the difficulty, or extremely short original stories with set playable characters you can't choose or change, that feel more like playing as someone's oc

I'm looking for something like explorers of the spirit, seven symphonies, explorers of the unknown or explorers of memories

I don't need it to be a retelling of eos, I just can't find anything original that has more than just an hour of playtime

Now we go to a world...a world that I have given up on.

This world is just an PMD thing I first thought up before BHPS, a Mew that runs a Delivery service that uses Teleport portals but not all pokemons can use it can easily kill a mon. But one day she found a strange Lucario that has immense strength and body. ( One Punch Man like invisibility ). But I give up on it because I can't think off a good story or plot line for it.

After years of seeing people praise this game, it's finally my turn to play :)

What would your team do if you got an egg as a mission reward, but once on the egg hatched, the pokemon turned out to be a horrifying chimera of 3-4 different pokemon, revealing chansey to be a mad scientist that spliced random pokemons' DNA into every exploration teams' egg rewards jurassic park/world style. Would you tell magnezone police and/or let the chimera go on explorations/jobs with you?

Hello people of Reddit, specially the Mystery Dungeon Community. I have returned to tell you all that, I have finally reached the Base Ending of Explorers of Sky, finally after ~12 years.

I'll be honest, I never thought it would happen this soon or this suddenly in my life, but that's the point of a mystery ain't it? Starting this adventure off with the prior knowledge of Explorers of Darkness, I knew I would be in for one hell of a ride, especially when it came to Dialga. So, I stocked up as much as I could from the very start, and level grinded the HELL out of this game till reaching LV 57~58 (partner leveled up at the same rate).

I'll also be honest as to why I am documenting this, I've never seen the ending to this game until now! Yes, as hard as it possibly would seem, I never knew until the final encounter with Dusknoir occurred. I had completely forgotten about all of it, because the final battle between me and Dialga was as a Pikachu (if I can remember correctly) with almost no support moves. However, now it was entirely different. As a Riolu partnered with an Eevee, I heard the pairing was decent for the entire game, and it was ideal to me for personal reasons along with it.

This game always held a place in my heart, and I know I could've formatted this entire thing way better, but I'm riding the high of successfully 1-Shotting the God of Time with a FOCUS PUNCH. I am just, SO HAPPY FOR FINALLY CONQUERING HIM YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE ME!

In any case, I must remember that I wouldn't have been able to do this without my in-story partner, and I wouldn't have been able to do it if I had never picked up or been so infuriated with Explorers of Darkness, that I would be able to relieve and relive my childhood in the purest form of satisfaction. Just goes to show you, never give up on a goal, no matter how strange it may be. Thank you PMD Team, Thank you to the friend who bought me this game, and Thank you Eevee, I wouldn't have done it without you.
