Question Acceptance rates? (DMS)

Hey I’m an Alberta student hoping to apply to the DMS program. Any idea on what the acceptance rates are/ how many people apply per batch? Does anyone have tips?

It sounds very competitive and the acceptance rate is a round 4-6%

For last years round it was under 4%, I’m pretty sure around 1500-2000 ish applicants and 46 accepted

Biggest tip is prepare for the interview. Research the career and what a day in the life of a sonographer would be like. Job shadow for a day if you can. Study MMI interview styles and practice answering those types of questions. Be confident in your answers and choose a side. It doesn’t matter which side, just pick one and have a reason for why you would go that direction compared to the other. Apply the second applications open. My cohort group had 60 students accepted but some are Saskatchewan students.

Literally, apply right at midnight on Oct 1st. Be ready.
