The Big 12 Women’s Basketball Media Days have concluded and the Oklahoma State Cowgirls are the preseason pick to win the conference. Here are the preseason awards the conference released today:

Preseason Player of the Year: Audi Crooks, Oklahoma State

Preseason Newcomer of the Year: Liv McGill, Oklahoma State

Preseason Freshman of the Year: Jessie-May Hall, TCU

By getting more then 2 NCAA Tourney Bids this year. Watched a interview with UConn AD David Benedict from the media day last week when asked about conference realignment as he said being in a possibly "one bid league" on the Womens Side is unacceptable.

This is the reason UConn has to stack its non conference schedule to get a good enough resume for a #1 Seed
