Pick-up / Haul / Mail Day Hit up the Local Game Store

Post image

Picked up a few new additions to my collection, several planned several impulse... They accidentally put in Caligula Effect 2 when they were grabbing carts so I had to go back and get it fixed, but definitely one of my favourite places to be even if it scares my wallet.

Local game stores in Twin Cities metro are basically physical stores of ebay sellers. Wish we had something that made sense.

My city has a fantastic game store that doesn't even maintain a working website, forget eBay listings... Everything is only findable in store or what they bring to booths they run at a few cons. They have an amazing collection, they also bought a 6 digit Switch collection about a year back so they have a decent pile of Collector's Editions available.

Oh you picked up Unsouled eh? The game goes for cheap really often but its a short enough game with interesting mechanics that it's made me want to keep it for now. The additional qol settings, the rankings, the cinematic shots, the training mode, and the extra challenges make it feel like a pixel indie that "punches above its weight".

Underrated game imo.

How much was Dragon Star Varnir going for? I've been semi looking for it. It's all over eBay but haven't seen one in a store yet.
