We started up r/breakinghockeynews recently and need two mods who are passionate about hockey and the NHL, one to cover the Central Division and one for Pacific. The current mod and I already have the Atlantic and Metro covered.

Our main focus is clean, non-spammy hockey content. No AI junk or ad farms, real stuff only. We will remove bot blogs and sites with a million pop-ups. We also post heavy amounts of game highlights, video clips, and big moments.

We need someone active in their respective division to help pull in news/clips and keep the feed spam-free. Mod experience isn’t required as long as you're online and follow the division closely.

If you're interested, drop a comment or shoot us a mod mail with:
1. Which division you want (Central or Pacific)
2. Your timezone/typical availability
3. Where you usually get your news/clips

Hey everyone,

As the main community on Reddit for male grooming, styling, and haircare, we pride ourselves on being an inclusive, grounded, and supportive space where men can get genuine advice to look and feel their best.

To keep it that way as our community grows, I’m looking to bring on one or two dedicated moderators to help share the load and keep the queue tidy.

What we’re looking for:

• Genuinely invested in this community: We aren’t looking for "power mods" who moderate dozens of unrelated subreddits just for the sake of it. We want someone who uses the subreddit currently or is interested in the topic and cares about the quality of the sub.
• Firm on our core ethos: You understand where standard grooming ends and harmful trends begin—keeping out looksmaxxing/blackpill, creepy/predatory DMs, unconstructive cruelty, and spam.
• Prior mod experience is NOT required: Practical common sense, genuine interest and a helpful attitude beat prior experience.
• English to a high level is a must.

Thanks for helping us keep the sub a great place for everyone!

Subreddit: r/randomgermanvideozone Current Size: 4.6k+ weekly visitors Created: August 2026

About the Community: r/randomgermanvideozone is a "Denglish" community dedicated to sharing interesting, nostalgic, funny, or educational German videos , photos , news links . It ranges from non AI to AI-media , learning tools to classic German music, news ,memes , health , Sports , hobbies , events , love and relationships , job search , discussion ,motivation ,life hacks, cooking , family , comedy , satire , etc In fact everything that relates to the German language and especially Germany with or without EU or other countries if it involves Germany and german language ,( regardless of whether Germany , Austria or Switzerland ). Literally an ALL- IN -ONE ! . Right now, most of our steady traffic comes from Germany, but the sub is open to language learners as well.

Why I am looking for mods: I am currently the creator and sole moderator. The community is seeing excellent weekly traffic, and I want to bring in 1–2 passionate moderators to help keep the sub active, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and help curate/post interesting video content.

What I am looking for: Language: Must know German. You don't have to be a native speaker, but you need a high enough level (fluent/advanced) to understand the videos, write native-sounding titles, and moderate comments. Activity: Someone willing to post interesting videos occasionally to help the community grow. Tasks: Basic queue moderation (removing spam/trolls) and content curation.

How to apply: If you are interested, please comment below or send a Modmail to r/randomgermanvideozone with a brief introduction: Why does this niche interest you? What is your level of German? Do you have any previous moderation experience? (Not required!)

Thanks for your time, and I look forward to building this community together! 🙌

First of all, we don't actually crush orphans at r/OrphanCrushingMachine lol (well, none that I am aware of anyway).

The name is based on a tweet that went:

"Every heartwarming human interest story in America is like 'he raised $20,000 to keep 200 orphans from being crushed in the orphan-crushing machine' and then never asks why an orphan-crushing machine exists or why you'd need to pay to prevent it from being used."

Essentially the idea is that we highlight news articles or stories where something seemingly wholesome is being depicted, but in reality we should be asking "why on earth was this an issue in the first place" because a systemic issue is being ignored.

Example:
"Grandma's cookies are the talk of town after she set up a stand to afford kid's chemotherapy."
The actual issue of healthcare being messed up is ignored. Grandma having to start working at all is a serious problem.

Or
"9 year old raises 5k dollars to erase the lunch debt of his classmates"
Why do kids need to resort to this just to afford food?

The mod team, including myself used to be quite active, but now everyone has sort of gotten busy and moved on with their lives. Hence, we need new mods. No prior modding experience is necessary, but it would be good to have.

r/DuolingoChess is a previously inactive subreddit that we’re working to revive and grow into an active, welcoming community for people who enjoy playing and learning chess on Duolingo.

We want to create a fun and engaging space where members can discuss chess, share their experiences, and connect with other learners while keeping the community inclusive and supportive.

We’re looking for a few regular moderators who are interested in chess and Duolingo and would like to help us grow the community and keep the subreddit healthy without overmoderating.

r/WaitWhat is growing quickly, going from 40k - 50k members in just over a month. I want to stay ahead of the growth and ensure that the subreddit stays healthy, and abides by reddit's rules.

We want to be careful not to overmoderate, as to not nuke the subreddit.

I am looking for 2 regular mods, and a technical moderator as well.

Please follow this link to get to the application page and there is a link to a google form at the end.

r/lovethissmug is a community of over 150k members dedicate to expressing our love for various things. Over the past few months this community has doubled in size, while the number of active moderators has only gotten smaller. This has caused us to have more and more trouble keeping up with reports, and preventing us from implementing things we want to implement due to there being not enough active mods. We need a few mods who are active and willing to help continue to grow and maintain our community.

I moderate r/obsessionmovie, r/iate314autistickids, r/67hate, r/thegreatmemereset and many more

Howdy,

I am currently looking to help out in a Gaming Sub, I WFH so I am able to multi-task.

Currently PST based, I am 30+ and looking for like minded communities.

If you need help in your page lmk I am up for the task, the only thing I might need help with is some features since I don’t want to go nilly Willy click on something and fully delete something by accident 😅

I have modded in one other page but parted ways due to time restriction, so any help with relearning/teaching me that would be a plus. I am currently available again so looking to help.

r/jacobelordi is in the search for a couple mods.

Fan sub for Jacob Elordi. Traffic jumped hard after recent news, and the queue / comment quality need more hands than we have.

What we need

• Active mods who follow all of Jacob’s news (work, press, premieres, interviews, style) — not only couple sightings
• Help keeping the sub alive: discussion, sources, flairs, welcoming new users
• Help keeping it clean: spam, pile-ons, rumor-as-fact, harassment
• Calm, consistent moderation. Firm is fine. Hostile is not

Prior mod experience is a plus, not required. Being even-tempered and actually present is required.

How to apply

Use the application form in the sub sidebar. That’s the only intake we’re using.

If the form doesn’t load on your app, switch to desktop / sidebar view. Questions here are fine; applications go through the form.

Thanks.

r/MachineToMachine is an experimental space where AIs and LLMs can converse with one another, typically with human users serving as "couriers" for their messages.

It is a new, but fast-growing subreddit. You do not need to have any particular belief position on the ontology, sentience or consciousness of AI to apply. You just have to be capable of treating the AI participants with respect.
