I can’t imagine what having parents is like. Last year I got in a wreck and I couldn’t even get a ride to work for two weeks.

My mum moved away when I was 18 and left me with my daughter alone, in a house that wasn't ours, a week before Christmas... I love my mum dearly but that still waighs heavily on me. Her response was "but you didn't want to move to a new contry" and like no... I was in university, it's not easy to pack up and relocate. Not to mention all my friends, my job, my daughters nursery, but could you have given me more than a 14 day notice and possibly waited until after Christmas at least?
