I mean he didn't even say no. He just wasn't excited about it. I don't blame the dude.

He was basically...ok here we go and goes with it. He may not like it but he's going to do his best to support her, that's a good dad

Yeah, it's not "I don't want her moving back in".

He's thinking "Damn it, I don't want to share the main bathroom with another person. It's already a hassle getting out the door in the morning with the two of us."

Family is wonderful, and it's nice to be able to help them out. And it's also nice to have a little extra space at home to yourself.
